Depends where i am, and with who.. Last time I told someone to stop, he stopped.. We talked to the guy (who was wearing a clown mask) and he seemed to be a bambi, rather then a bandid.. We asked him if he needed food/drink/medicine, he told us he was fine, and we let him go. Mind you, at the point i told him to stop, me and my friend were behind him about 4 meters away, and we had 2 friends on the other side aiming at him that he could clearly see. If he had not stopped we would have popped some bullets in his legs, have a conversation about being polite, fixed him back up, and let him go regardless. I mostly get KOS by unseen players, I wish I would get held up, rather then "poof" You Are Dead.. I would gladly give someone all my food/ammo/weapons, since players cannot have 2 backpacks/shirts/weapons etc.. I would have "something" to get back on my feet, rather then being a fresh spawn.

It doesn't stop server hopping, especially since the timeout is smaller then the time it takes to run from a looted military site, to an unlooted one. Nothing will change server hopping tho, and at this moment, with crashes and badmins, it also punishes the innocent with that timeout. So umm yeah, the timeout against server hopping should be longer then the walk from lets say NWAF to that military site, 10+ min.. But until most of the stability issues are solved, I think that shouldnt be implemented, since it punishes people, that already have been punished with a crash.

Still having heard Makrilli's story pains me more, then the fact that you kicked/killed the glitcher makes me feel good. If your server is in europe, could you PM me your server name, I will surely add you to favorites! Yeah highlander, you certainly have a good point there, tho there is always the log in timer. The question here is probably, would you rather have a badmin save his friends by kicking them, getting reported possibly losing his server, and no innocent lives have been lost. Or would you rather have a group of innocent players killed by a badmin, whilst they were kicked and defenseless, this way the badmin also has all their guns, and gear (since he has the time to simply headshot everyone)..

But why 30 seconds, when you get kicked you dont have time to go to a safe spot, you could be in the middle of elektro, and admins can still kick without reason, leaving you defenseless.. It is implemented to stop combat loggers, not to punish people that get a kick, for whatever reason. and yeah, i will change that to punches...

to the one its a form of griefing, to the other its self defense.. yesterday our sniper pissed off some geared players that were waiting on sniper hill, they came at us.. i hid most of the bodies, still they kept coming back, picking up the guns i missed, and trying again.. think they gave up in the end, not sure since a cheater teleported under the house and got us... for realism, i would have dragged their bodies back, stacked them up and made a nice wall to hide behind. as for the spade comment.. sure.. but there is no "fill chamber with dirt" option either, needs no spade, and ruins a gun too. (or at least after firing 1 bullet without cleaning its ruined)

Yesteray me and my squad were on a rampage near elektro (we shot some geared guys that were at sniper hill, they flanked us and died, respawned, came back and died.. etc..) 12 kills in, some dude with a green backpack ported under the house we were holding up in, and killed me, knocked out the sniper, and my buddy tried to get away, the guy teleported in front of him to kill him. The thing is, its the 3rd time i see a hacker on DayZ, and all 3 times were on german servers. Dont join german servers, hacker problem solved... i hope.

Well today I joined my friend from the Philippines on an Australian hardcore server, I am from Holland so I had about 350 ping. I was still a fresh spawn there, so I gathered some food.. but couldn't find anything sharp to open it.. I did find some power lines, thus i ended up in Elektro.. Shortly thereafter i had a fire-axe, Mosin+scope+bipod, I almost looted the entire city of Elektro without getting shot, at the last building I entered, the hospital thing, I heard a sound. I'm not the kind of guy that goes looking for trouble, so I decided to make a run for it.. Once outside I ran towards the west, out of the town. When I looked behind me, I saw an armed woman on the roof.. I did not want to get sniped so I took a defensive position... Next thing I know, the lady, dressed in mostly grey/black clothing + SKS, decided to go down the ladder. At this point I was not sure if she was alone.. So i took some shots and killed her, I could not risk a firefight because of lag. If you were this lady that got shot off a ladder on an Australian server, I am truly sorry, I normally don't shoot people like that. But this time, for me, it felt like I had no choice, you did not see me, but you might have seen me a bit later, and you could have shot 4 rounds before the effect of those shots would appear on my screen. why would it be useless? make them shut up in populated areas, so they cannot attract the attention of other players, by shouting "halp bandits are stealing my pants"

i try not to kill, but its hard to judge intentions when people dont use mic.. i once killed a french guy with a mic, since french is supposed to be this sexy language and he was shouting at me sounding nasty.. could be the fact that i was chasing him with an axe, but i told the man to stop.

if that fails, there are some servers in EU with names like THIS SERVER WILL RESET YOUR CHAR.. that has worked quite well for me

So rust from a car, aluminium oxide from a baseball bat.. thermite bomb.. go to a farm, pick up some ammonium nitrate (fertilizer), go to gas station, combine = bomb combine bomb with scrap metal, anti personell bomb that throws shards for quite some range. grenade + rope = trip wire booby trap fill a car with ammonium nitrate, go to gas station.. and timothy mcveigh elektro get some charcoal from a campfire, and some salpeter from collected piss = black powder, add a container and you have a nice bomb too... add matchbox and that can be a pressure detonation device for most of the stuff. ohh and add the anarchist cookbook ingame for reference..

i kind of like it, however stopping bleeding might be a big thing.. i could see myself however, sitting there for a few minutes with reduced bleeding, allowing my friend come down the hill and bandage me. In case of the infection thing.. how about badly damaged gloves, they could cause infection too i suppose

Well sticking your hands up and going prone is a good sign saying "im not going to hurt you", my friend puts up his fists and nods up/down for yes, and qeqe for no, when his 1yr old is sleeping.. It will be harder to communicate, i can imagine that, but i think not much worse then in real life.. However, is a voicebox not an option for you.. for simple lines like "drop your weapon and dont turn around", stuff like that? there are some freebie apps for phone that can load your own samples into a sample board, hook it up with a 3,5mm male to 3,5mm male jack to the mic of your computer, now all we need is a volunteer with a cute voice to record the samples that will be your voice
