  1. You have a point there however most people would die of sickness, dysentery, wounds/injuries, starvation, dehydration, ect.. Those would make up the greater numbers besides those that fail to the zombies outbreak, those dyeing to others would be a smaller number but then a 15% of 10 mill really isn't small lol. Like you said there are those who will play this the way they want and wont immerse themselves into the game and that's fine to each there own. I am hopeful that as more and more is added the KOS will start to go down. I still have not KoS and will do my best not to. V/R
  2. AS far as this comment goes meh... moving on. While I can see the bros and cons of hero/bandit system there will always be a way to abuse the system however if the zombies are more of a threat and thus the more players die to say murder then that old body turns into a zombie or maybe zombies could be attracted to the smell of fresh blood thus making it a higher risk to players to kill one another. Or we could even go the route of zombies will run towards sounds and thus you don't shoot unless you have to kind of thing. Right now there is no real threat other then players so I can see why players aren't banding together and so on. The way I am playing right now is if I see someone or even think I see someone I go the other way go to places that I know players don't really go to. We all know they are at military bases and the air strips and along coast killing the new spawns. So I run inland as fast as possible and stay away from the bases and air strips. Since I have done this I have been left a lone. Nut I guess rule of thumb would be if you do have to interact with someone try to have the upper hand and instead of holding them up why not try to trade stuff if you can. I always walk around with more then I need and ammo that doesn't got to the gun I am using. I have alrdy had 2 trades that went of with out any issues.
  3. Hello all, I am a fairly new player and I would like to say I love this game. However after only a few hours of play the KOS and the state of where the game play is may coincide with one another. In a post-apocalyptic world as we see in DayZ I would say we are at the stage of survival mode since no one is banding together to forum a militia or some type of group to bring order and control back to this word (due in fact to we can't build bases yet or fortify positions as what would happen after the survival stage of the post-apocalyptic world.) survival stage is where humans will and would do things that they never thought they would ever be able to due. So if it comes down to them or you it depends of their journey before they come across you in most case but let's face it there are some out there that are twisted to start with in the lack of some short of order they are free to do as they want. Those twisted ones aside, the player will act upon the nature of his environment this game is a survival game of when you die you die that's it so players are going to take a lot more into consideration when they come across you. So depending on what they have been though might affect their actions against you. With that being said let me say this," THIS IS A POST-APOCALYPTIC WORLD WHERE HUMANS ARE AN ENDANGERED SPIECES WHY THE F ARE WE KILLING EACH OTHER!!!." As the state of the game moves forward and more things are added and bases are built, (farming I hope), and technology is brought back into the world KOS may become a much more random act then it is now. Soon it will be more about what can you help me with then what do you have in your pack.. Just my thoughts I am really enjoying this game. V/R
