I myself have moved onto Arma III wastelands and Altis life and it's amazing compared to what can be done in DayZ SA At least the game runs excellent on perfect settings,and there is a lot to do other than run around in a forest with nothing to do but go loot cans of beans! If....and it is a big IF IMHO that if DayZ EVER...gets finished it will be too little to late .... do to the leaps and bounds that others are putting out in the gaming World I really like DayZ,but the development sucks and they way they go for quantity over quality when working on this game is getting them nowhere except loosing players! Fan Boys can whine and bellyache all they want,this DEV Teama needs some harsh cirtisism from this community,and they need to listen that cirtisism. As I am sure they will not continue work on a game for a handfull of Fan Boys which is soon all to be left playing DayZ if Development does not start to get there act together! I have become so dissalutioned with how DayZ is being developt I don't even try there patches until the hotfix comes out lol and even then,last patch I played all of five minutes then wondered now what to I do..... lol Boaring....Yawn! -

With the results from last few patches it is obvious none of the DEVs check anything out before releasing there patches! So much gets broken with every patch from these guys,they really need to learn some priority's and maybe sart actually fixing something rather than just going for quantiy over quality lol -
Yes,I have even quit playing DayZ do to not liking being punished for what others do! I rather put up with server hoppers than be punished for what...they do! Oh well,been having a great time on Altis life for now Too bad DayZ SA could not be ported over onto Arma III Engine ,Arma III and especially Altis life runs good on my Pc at high settings compared to having to run low settings and getting poor Fps with DayZ SA They don't pay attension to whats happening with there followers.....this game may just start lagging way behind....so far in fact it may never get finished before everyone moves on to other games!

Excellent ideas,I would like to see horse especially for travel more then vehicles to be honest A dog as a companion with a Bird of Prey .... what more could you ask for Be cool,that's for sure!

At 300 to 400 m it is easy to get head shots lying prone with a scope,although finding suitable places with low grass is a problem lol At 600 m I aim just above the head around say 6 inches then 12 inces ofr 700 m and then 18 inches to 24 inches above the head for 800 m I try to make sure a get a frontal or back view rather than a side view of target for more coverage on body,also trying to set up for a spot where the furtue target will stop as when opening a door before going in a building,or in a building through the window where the target will be entering through that doorway 700 to 800 m shots I bthink are a bit out there for the Mosin and that the rifle is more than capable and deadly at 400 to 600 m Anyone doing well at 700 m shots has a lot of practice ,and a good eye! -

Useing the search feature of the forum may help,this has been asked by so many ...so many times I am sure the answers are in the forum if one was to look The Rider Jacket is all over the place,mostly in Row Garages,and there is more up North than on the coast it seems. I see them all the time!

No I do not like the new mouse movement at all,it is way to quick even when supposedly toned down in configure It is so unrealistic..... so quick I can not even stand playing for 5 minutes now before getting sea sick trying to look around! Tried and tried to adjust to find a sweet spot lol,it still feels cheap and arcadish to me! definately made for the PvP ...KoS crowd so they can kill quicker lol

That's rich,Aim for the head....with an axe you can not aim lol The way the Melee weapons are implemented to be used are horrendous in this game! Edit> I might ADD,I have no trouble taking Zeds down so don't think for a minute I am whining about it as I do not have trouble useing the axe I am just stating the fact that the axe and the stance and how it is aimed is so unrealistic it is ...well horrible! Using the axe has more to do with timing it right ,than aiming in this game!

I totally agree with this,the mouse movement even when turned right down in the games configure is still WAY to fast So fast in fact I only played for around 5 minutes until I was fed up with it and that is after turning it down completely in game I am not going to start re-configuring my mouse on my Pc ...just to load a game to play! So with that I played a whole 5 minutes and shut down DayZ abd I will be over playing Altis life on Arma III until the mouse gets turned down at the very least! What is the reason for having to have such as fast mouse ? and so what the M4 slows you down,who constantely has an M4 in there hands ? Horrible,absolutely horrible mouse movement IMHO and I would never,ever be able to get use to it as I usually always turn the mouse down in ALL games I play because I like a slower moving mouse! Sorry,but this is one guy that is not even going to check out the new patch,when the new patch and mouse movement starts to make me sick to my stomach in less than 5 minutes of play...well it is unacceptable how these patches force people to play a game! 600 second timer ? this is acceptable to supposedly do something about server hoppers lol I rather put up with server hoppers and combat loggers and have NO TIMER !!! Servers laggy,switch have to wait 600 seconds lmao get booted,600 sec. penalty Ya,punish the whole comunnity because of a few bad apples....that really makes sense Sorry,but as I mentioned I will be playing Altis life from now on and won't be checking much out on DayZ with 600 second timers,very unreal mouse movement and the fact that guys are being killed by the game for the server booting you etc. New towns that are not there,stuff implemented that dos not work correctly and on and on and on and the "it's Alpha" is getting really,really old! All this buying into a Alpha game,hopeing to become part of a game in early development to hopefully be a part of the way the game develops for a gratrifying end result... well.... IMHO this Alpha is giving any other future Alpha games a bad name because if this is what Alpha means I will never waist so much time again on a Alpha game ever again Let alone waist my money on it Let's see,since this all started,the main Character....went and climbed Mount Everest....now say's he is stepping down to go do something else.... You people out there realize just how much it costs to climb Mount Everest :lol: I just feel like I have totally been suckered out of my money on this game,sorry fan boys but we ALL are entitled to an opinion! To summarize ... less than 5 minutes of play and I shut DayZ SA down,that is how impressed I was with the new patch do to the "Very Unreal Mouse Movement" :huh: Oh well,it is only Alpha... as the Fan Boys chime in all the time... So I guess I will just be fireing up Altis life and will check back with DayZ in a couple weeks or months ;)

I totally agree,and I myself have already switched to Atlis life and I am really enjoying it! as for H1Z1,hopefully it will draw the KoS crowd..... away from DayZ Now a dayz I just roam around once in awhile in DayZ,and will just be useing it to check things out after a patch...and the patches hotfix.... comes out each time I don't even try the patches until the hotfixes come out now As for playing DayZ ,it is hard to play a game where there is nothing to do after you get Geared up and have lots of food! It is not even hard to survive,so the survivalists can't say much about it being a survival simulator ....although time will tell what all unfolds in the world of DayZ in the future -
I actually have shot through patatoes with a .22 so I do know how easy it really is,to not only aim but to use I find it hard to believe nobody else has never done this before lol Pataoes are mostl;y water,so you think you would stand in the way because it makes the bullet week > lol or that I could not aim.... lol and for those that think suppressors only work in hollywood movies.... not silent but they do work in RL and that houses do not muffle rifle shots but do muffle handgun shots....come on really... Take most from on this forum,throw them in the woods and then go fire some shots off I am sure most wood not have a clue which way the shots come from,unless being shot at! most shots in a city sound like back fire from a vehicle and not a gun,and it is hard telling which direction and it has nothing to do with ambient noise ,and more to do with deflection of sound! Oh well,like most threads anyone starts around here they usually just go down hill with sarcastic remarks made by those that think they know all :D

A potatoe inside of a water bottle,now that we actually have both them items in the game... stuck on the end of a barrel would not be unrealistic,especially for the 10/22 sporter ;)

If anything,it should taste a hell of a lot better B) Pop is like that in a way is it not ? I seem to think it fill's you up food wise as well as hydrating you,same as canned peaches whereas rice and maybe cereal also,dry you out hydration wise Yes though,benificial food,vitamins and minerals,omega 3's if we ever get to eat more fish than sardines :D Great idea!

Tents and what is in them,and what is on you is all I would like to see hold persitant items not backpacks laying around full of stuff as I describe in my above post. Later vehicles could become persitant and what they contain,but either way a Camp is needed for something to do which needs to Tent to happen IMHO

Yes,Tents not backpacks need to be intorduced and made persistant Backpacks will just litter the coast with them full of Ammo,clips and Mags,handguns and sawed off's,yoiu think the coast is dangerous now.... ? Tents would be harder to conceal,so the coast would not get over run with them and most would move in land a bit to set up a camp Without tents,who is going to carry blocks of firewood,cooking pots etc ? Nothing will change,because it will be unrealistic trying to carry all that stuff just to hunt and cook everyone will just grab some beans and a gun and go look for others to kill like they do now! Tents,would definately add an eliminate of something to do.Setting up camp,is what is needed first to be able to hunt and especially cook. Tents,not backpacks please!

I personally don't bother trying to use wall glitches or anything else,I don't do PvP! If I see someone,I hide or run like hell :D I myself would definately like to see walls get hard so nobody can lean or whatever you do to stick your head out the wall,be nice to see a fix for looking over walls by panning your camera or around corners but those two 3pp faults I can personally live with and believe if everyone else can and is obviously doing it why would I not I have no guilt lmao,I also play this game as a survialist nothing more and stick to myself as I find I live longer I'm always willing to be friendly,and have been shot in the face,the back and everything else MANY TIMES...do to my good nature and from not being into this KoS mindset that the majority in this game feel that's what the games about in DayZ although I do also believe in to each there own as I happen to live in a free country where each individual can make there own choices! So don't think for a minute I have some kind of guilt,or that I cheat and use exploits such as wall glitching to KoS anyone You do not know me,yet seem to assume things about me from a simple post! I too like 3pp for the very same reasons,and yes I also would like to see only and be seen only when you could really see or be seen in RL Although a game is a game to me nothing more,meant for fun nothing more myself just the wall,head sticking through glitch would be ok to fix for sure but I personally do not care if others can see over a wall or around a corner as that has been going on in games ever since they come out.Although it would be cool to have that corrected if possible,but not a game breaking fault IMHO -
Searched but could not find anything on Track IR I have used it since it first come out,mostly for air combat simulators and driving games but I have also used it with combat games... 1. pretty hard to control what people run in the background on there Pc when playing a game,and after all it is a game and if people who like to play games together can not have there own private channel to bullshit on while playing....well that is not going to go over very well in the gaming community as TS Comms or whatever is pretty standard these days in ALL games 2. If DayZ night cycles were not so fake looking having just ink blackness with no light at all most of the time,people would not feel the need to have to exploit gamma in RL eyes adjust to darkness and seeing becomes easier as long as you do not poluute your eyes again with light,moonlight comes into effect,clear skies etc. and very seldom do any servers have a full moon on there night cycle which is the only DayZ night cycle that anyone can see anything.I personally like playing at night but the night cycles are so fake looking I don't bother even trying anymore. 3. FoV should only be adjustable once before starting the game, and not be there to access once in the game. As for 3pp exploits of wall/corner looking or popping there head through a wall If everyone can do it,it is really not a big deal IMHO things are only a problem when only one can do something and others can not There already IS a solution for this...Play On HardCore Servers if you DO NOT like 3PP! I can not understand why some people seem to feel the need to make everyone have to play HC and nobody should be allowed 3pp view not everyone is into running around with tunnel vision throughout there whole game play,to each ther own and that is why there are Regular servers and Hardcore servers! Always the HC guys wanting everyone else to have to be HC also,you do not like 3pp then play hardcore...simple!
