The game is fantastic the way it is. Had some PvP action near Novo, got killed and had no issues surviving with new toon. It is taking much more time to have military weapons. But the game is much more interesting now. Want a 5 minutes gear up toon?.....not possible now. Which I think is great. Zombies still a lower risk. They should be far more dangerous and aggressive.... Cheers!

It is confirmed: The tents stay after mid-week reset. We did the test and worked. We placed a couple of items in there just in case and it worked fine. Cheers!

My beanZ to you. Key word here is "lazy". Lots of players just want to gear up the fastest way possible and kill each other in Electro/berezino/wherever...also the fastest way possible.... The game has to be a replica of a post-apocalyptic world: harsh and hard to survive. Health, food and survival techniques above pure PVP. Do I like PvP? off course I do....I love it as a matter of fact, but just when needed. That should not be the core game mechanic. Cheers!

Dear Community: I wanted to ask a couple of questions here. First let me expose what is bothering me: I have noticed that all servers (officials, non-persistent, public) are resetting quite often (between 1 hr to 2 hours top). This game dynamic does not allow to complete/finish some missions, like finding a truck, fool around, find jerrycans and refill them. I am not willing to try out horticulture for this very same reason. So questions are: How are you dealing with this issue? Are there any servers that have longer times to reset? I have tried to get inside the truck with the can...no way. This is not possible to do as per now. Another question: Can you refill the jerry again in a gas station for instance? Thanks!

After some days searching for a truck, we managed to find 2....same server :P !....thing is that we went to Vybor near the Army Base, traveled around Lopatino, Svetlo and other nice places....it was awesome, until we parked for a well deserved snack and we spotted 3 fully armed guys coming to steal our beloved possessions.....they were with full geared and with ghillie suits and my guess is that they thought we never saw them. After a while, my mate and I were able to take down all 3 of them. Thank you guys for the ghillies....Merry Xmas to you too... B) Funny thing is that we were discussing how to give one of the trucks away to other fellow survivors, but seeing them coming with really bad intentions....well..." a man has to do what a man has to do...! I think the loot is just fine....as Irish stated if you are so eager for some Akm´s and sort, ask the fellow survivors to give it to you, nicely off course :P . That is: behind a bush with lots of ammo. Having too much loot just takes half the fun of the game. Cheers!

Dear all: I have installed the experimental twice and I have the effect shown in the picture. Stable 0.50 is running really nice without any issues, but every time that I have tried the 0.51, i have this weird effect. Anyone knows what can be wrong? Yes, you are very lucky. I have played 1.000 hrs+ in DayZ and I may have 4 confirmed encounters with hackers. Another 10 or 15 encounters I may have doubts and will be more related to desync/internet issues. Any how, my point is that there are not as many as we tend to cry and sometimes is just glitches or bugs. The game is not 100% hacker free but also is not infested with them. Also bear in mind that developers are focusing on security, which will prevent this even more. Cheers and enjoy the game!
