Yesterday, at a barn house on experimental. Second floor, drinking a soda....start drinking and suddenly: my arm is in pain, my leg is broken, you are dead. For the second time in less than a month I died by gliches from second floors. Moral: Do not open a can of soda in second floors.....it may be dangerous for your health.

This one just made me......I don´t know, but this is really shady to say the least. Carrying a hacked mag is not, under any circumstances, acceptable. Where do you get M4´s BTW?...... Shame....

Precisely what I mentioned: this game is very interesting regarding PVP interactions!..... And regarding your zombies question, I fully agree with you. Game is about zombies, but they are hardly a threat. I think was like 2 patches ago, that they became more agressive and harder to kill. Then lots of people were complaining about how hard they were, etc.... Also I would love to see along with hordes of zeds, some scarse loot and some kind of food values to reach full health state. Let´s say that you need to at least have one kind of meat, canned food and fresh ones in order to have your toon at its best......that also will help to give depth to the game play!..... Cheers!

way455: Can you elaborate a bit more on the new loot changes?...I was playing experimental yesterday around 19:00 hrs eastern time and was not able to find one single weapon at NWAF, nor in the vecinity.....Found ammo and magazines but guns were gone :o .... How this is working?.....To be honest, found the experimental with some rubber banding, bugs in sounds....but overall I am ok with lack of loot...as you mentioned makes things more challening and interesting..... If a place has been looted already (opened doors and items floating around)......does it spawn new loot?....just in restarts?.... Thank you in advance for any insights mate! Cheers.

I also noticed this issue. It is just impossible to aim with actual sway. Try a LRS and a Mosin and the PSO with the AK....both have the exact same issue. It is not a "catch your breath" type of thing, but a new bug that need to be fixed. And yes, it the same 100% healthy, relaxed and proned with bipods (in the case of the AK, since you can no longer use it on the Mosin). And to be honest, I haven´t tried to be on drugs to be able to aim :D ! Cheers.

1. You have two options here: inside Steam you go to this site: http://dayzdb.com/map/chernarusplus or use the iZurvive app for Iphone. Personally I find the last one more useful and safer. With the first one you need to minimize the game :o 2. Trust no one. This is not a game to socialize. Get FB instead. My brother and I we have a rule: No KOS on civilian places until we are more aware of the other player (s) intentions. On military bases/Airports: engage when opportunity kicks in and you have a clear advantage, good loot possibilities. Otherwise run for your life. This varies greatly on every play style. Just giving out my opinion here. That is the way we play, you may find different roles/styles to your liking. This game is very interesting regarding the PVP options. 3. Crafting: this is really vague. Craft what?....you have lots of possiblities to craft things: fish rods, archs, camp fires, medical area...backpacks...etc 4. ?.....WTF? Cheers and enjoy the game.....

You know you can have sticks now almost anywhere right? go to the nearest tree, chop it down and make "thirds", ....do carry them at all times (along with rags or bandages) in order to craft an splint...you will need it for this situation or when shot..... Morphine does the trick also. This is the end of the world!!!! you should be prepared! ;)

There is one server (cannot remember the name) that puts this really nicely: "Don´t be afraid to fight, they are just pixels, lose them bravely..."....I am always aware when we have a pinned down player if he is combat logging.....and if he is we go and take the kill....you should, as someone said, win, lose or get the hell out of there......

Not at silly answer.....I was relaxed, proned and with bipod in the case of the AK.....and still the sway was horrible.....maybe my guess will be something with mouse sensitivity?.....Gets me a bit less worried now, since it does not seems to be a new bug :P .....Anyhow...thanks! Cheers mate

I do have a question: yesterday I was trying to snipe zombies with the PSO scope and the LR in a Mosin and the sway was brutal, to the point of making it impossible....it is a bug or I do have some controls off, like mouse sensitivity? Sorry for that: the word would be "sway" and not lag. That would be the movement side to side you have modeled in the game. This is less noticeable on hand guns and much more in rifles. By the way: on the last patch 0.47, the sway on rifles with scopes is just impossible....guess that will keep the snipers away for a bit :P ...... Cheers!

rjclock: Last time that I did this with the M4 was like 2 or 3 months ago, don´t know how that relates to current patch, since I haven´t been able to find M4 for that period of time. All trials were made at 300 mts/ACOG pristine/all parts pristine: The highest accuracy with the M4 was obtained with all the MP attachments (MAGPUL), that is buttstock and handguard. The worse was with the OE attachments and the QB was somehow in the middle. The RIS pristine was in the middle also, which is a shame since with the RIS you can attach flashlighs!..... But then again, with the CQB configured, the "lag" of the rifle is less noticeable, which is precisely the intention, to fight in close environments. Hope this helps mate!.....and sorry....don´t have videos of these trials to show them. Cheers. PS: Forgot to mention the bipod. Personally I didn´t feel any difference having it, dispersion wise.

Dear Developers: Please stop making updates. There is no joy waiting for them, since when they are finally here there is only more bugs to deal with. Played a couple of hours today with the 0.47 and I found: 1. Melee weapons bugged: not making sounds, not hitting as they are supposed...and after some zeds being killed....nightmare! no more use for them and your weapons dont work or fire.....so run for a safe place....log out and log in. 2. FPS drop: makes the game impossible to play right now. Thank you. 3. Zeds still going thru walls and doors......mesh what? 4. CR527: beautiful design...magazines a true rarity (i am ok with this actually) BUT: you can chamber it...yes....and the bullet is shown outside the rifle, floating around the trigger....backwards! 5. The iconic M4A1 it is just a sweet memory now...lost in the sea of bugs.....along with the ammo or magazines..... 6. AK101: havent been able to find a magazine....have to give it time I guess...but since it uses the long gone 5,56 mm...I dont think is wise to have it.... On this last 3-4 months...we are moving 2 steps forward and 4 backwards....I KNOW it is alpha, I know it is broken.....I have played more than 800 hours now.....and to be honest, I have had tons of fun and the investment is fully paid off already....but no fun anymore..... It is a shame, since the game had such a great concept.....

What do you need to Fish: 1. Fishing hook (have found them almost everywhere, but really hard to spot) 2. Worms! this can be obtained only in open spaces with the shovel or farming hoe. Please bear in mind that both tools get ruined after some strokes. 3. You will need a fishing rod. Ashwood tree is the only one providing it. In order to chop it...you will need an ax. Also gets damaged as you use it. 4. Fishing rod fits inside the large back-packs or subs the slot for mellee weapon....but you can use it to kill zeds also! 5. You will need rope....find it in wharehouses.... 6. Craft you fishing rod: place rope in rod....place worm in hook...place hook in rod.......all set!....... well...not quite......you need to prepare them!.....and cook it..... 1. Find a pristine knife. This is a plus, since anything else but pristine will make you lose lots of food content. (expressed as percentages) 2. make a fireplace: either with a piece of paper or rag with sticks. 3. If you dont have sticks, craft them: chop down a tree...select the log with you ax and make thirds. 4. Matches!!!!....without them....well no fire!...... 5. place the logs inside the fireplace and ignite with matches on hand. 6. Prepare the fish: one fish = 2 fillets. Fireplace can hold 5 pieces. Do not place the fish in the slots, but rather on top of the description of the fireplace...this way you can fit the 5 pieces 7. Wait to be cooked...I have been trialing the time that it takes for this to happen....it varies greatly from 5 minutes up to 15 minutes....weird... 8. Sit, enjoy and eat....sparkle some good conversation, beer and good company and you are set! :) Hope it helps guys!.....cheers!

Yes! we do fish.....basically the role playing we are doing right now goes like this: 1. As a bambi...you are allowed to eat and drink until fully healthy anything you can find: cans, sodas, etc 2. Once with full health you are no longer allowed to pick up, drink anything. Drinking is only allowed in ponds or rivers....not whells. 3. Only food intake you can have is either hunting or fishing. 4. Since animal AI is so bad right now, you can only hunt at 100 mts distance....to make it a bit challenging!. In order to accomplish the above, you do need time and effort to craft/loot needed materials. But really adds content and some realism to the game. Then once you are fully geared.....go PVP or whatever you like!.

Acheron: This is one of the many bugs the game has for the moment. Normally happens when you loot a gun from a dead body or a mate gives you one. If you cannot aim (first or third), it means it is bugged. The only solution I have found is to log off and log in again. Then it should work just fine. I dont know what it is.....hope it helps! It was a REAL pleasure that me and my mate were able to kick you pathetic backside. You handled to ruin my shirt, my pants my food and let me all beat up. But finally, two honest players just taught you a lesson: LEARN TO PLAY RIGHT. Not even with your weird hacks and vodoo shit, you were able to defeat us. We killed you, recuperated my hardly earned M4 that you managed to steal from me while unconcious and we are healthy, fat and enjoying life, but above all: we are DEEPLY satisfied that we were able to ruin your miserable way of playing.
