Maybe try to use a splint?.....sway could be terrible when hurt by zombies....even if you dont have any messages stating that you have a fracture.

You are looking in the wrong place!!.....Do not look for heli crashes.....look for people that have visited heli crashes and request them to give out the M4 and its components.... P.S.: Some violence may be involved during these transactions.... :D

KOS is part of a valid game play. The main problem as the game is right now, is the lack of depth. Once you have played regularly it becomes the same cycle: spawn, gear up, run, run again, killed or get killed....spawn....rinse until done. I have found good people, really bad ones and everything in between. Don´t give up hope and enjoy! cheers

Yesterday I was considering the possibility of doing this exact same mission!....sit there on low pop servers and wait for server hoppers....I will be focused mainly on the military base at Vybor and NWAF in case you want to know.....

Also I find myself the iZurvive map app for android or IPhone quite useful, since I don´t have to close my game. Also this little app gives you the opportunity to share your locations with your clan/group. Want to follow the helicrash sites tour?...no problem!....this little fella has it!..... Check it out.

Don´t sweat over the tents.....they don´t work as intended...unfortunately as many things in DayZ. Just do the following: 1. Spawn 2. Gear up 3. some PvP 4. Die 5. Re-spawn again Repeat ad infinitum..... :(

Chaos: where or how do you craft sandbags? is that on stable 0.49?....or is it on experimental 0,50?....I am referring to stable and didn´t know you can craft sandbags!....please clarify? Thanks!

Don´t sweat it guys.....TENTS ARE NOT persistent. Here my list of servers where I placed one tent each: 1. Florida 2-0 (dead) 2. Florida 2-10 (dead) 3. Georgia 2-18 : tent disappeared. 4. Dayz Atlanta 4-009 (Fragnet): we place it, put some stuff in it, logged out and then the server was reset (30 minutes later), we log in and the tent was gone. The only one we have some doubts is the one in GA, since it may be found....but they are bugged as hell. I don´t know if we are doing something wrong but we tried with doors closed, open, etc. None of them seem to be working (as related to persistence). Cheers.

Here you go: 1. This is a game, and as such, some things are not the way they are supposed to be (i.e. re-spawning when killed). The nice thing about the tents is precisely that they can be found!....if you take out that single risk factor, much of the game play will be lost....my opinion! 2. I left 2 AKM´s near my tents to double check if they will be there next time I am near my camp site. To my bad luck, both servers went dead...so I still dont know if this works... Cheers mate.

Dear all: We found 2 tents and placed them on Dayz Florida 2-0 and Dayz Florida 2-10 (one on each). Both were persistent and both from gameservers. Like 4 days ago the 2-0 does not show up and appears dead. Today we seem to have lost the 2-10. Are they shut down for good? how do I find out that information? If they are lost or shut down for good, which servers should I use? which one do you recommend? Thanks for your help! Cheers.

Dear Skroo: No server hoppers here. I see your point, but as someone said, this is a game. Re-spawning should not be allowed and perma-death a reality (even losing your game!). I always try to see how to justify the non-realistic phases of this beautiful game. For instance, you are storing and going "squirrel" with goods and then someone just finds your tent and is all gone!...my mate, just stocks food and rare items (like mosin speed loaders and so)...me.....I love military stuff...... But as you mentioned, there is no right or wrong way of doing this!.... Enjoy mate! PS Normally I place my tents in the same server that i normally play.....and I try all the time to play with 25+ players in it......that keeps the tension of finding good PVP....

1. For raining I have found that the raincoats and Gorkas are the best. They keep you running without hyper or hypo issues. Even if the message comes out as WET or DAMP, your temperature seems to stay very stable. That is the preventive part. The other MUST is that you should be able to bring fire to life!.....for that you need: an ax, torn paper from books or rags and matches!.....with the ax you will be able to craft two things: wood and kindle. Kindle can be obtained in three ways: looking for it under canopy of woods (time consuming), with the ax near some bush and making thirds out of a tree wood. Place everything and you will have a nice warm place. BTW: you combine first the sticks with the rags/paper and craft a "Fireplace Kit"....then you add the logs....and then you ignite the whole thing!. 2. Don´t know about this one. I have found only one clip for mosin and I was killed before I could use it.... 3. While playing I don´t know. Since I almost never play solo, my partner stays in while I add to favorites....from in game, I have not found a way to do it. Cheers and enjoy. And yes, the game is changing for good. More stable, at least for me!

I just feel over powered!...LOL, honest to God I hope you are wrong....but now that you mention this, I place 2 tents, both were full with guns and ammo....and both servers went dead....I do have as per today another one in another server, ranked top 20 for USA....let´s see...if that one goes dead....gee....it is me!..... In other words: finally we got persistence from our DayZ team and now everything depends solely on servers being up and alive?....a bit discouraging. Anyhow, I followed Steak and Potatoes advice: and went for the top ranked servers for USA. Will give it another try. At the end of the day, the only thing we lose is pixels :P . Cheers
