For sure. Have you ever watched his twitch streams? He is the most childish, condescending ass to his dev team when they would be playing together. After I purchased the game and was loving it in alpha form, I went on to one of his streams and was just shocked that this was the "genius" behind this game. He just doesn't have it. I don't know how old he actually is, but it seems he never got the chance to grow up and become a professional--which is what this game so desperately needs.

I hope we really see some direction and vision start to come from some of the updates. This game is getting dull and it needs some new fire to get it going again.

I'm with you 100% on this. I actually wouldn't be surprised if Dean was forced out, given his childish and condescending behavior (as seen through is twitch streams) and the directionless nature of this game. I think the game lost its vision when this Rocket character first thought he could head up a development team. I hope BIS has some good executives that will get a real adult with vision in there continuing this game.

This game is still directionless. Too easy to survive, loots are too predictable, no incentive to actually survive, etc. I honestly think if Rocket wants this game to be anything worthwhile in the end, it's going to take an other 2 or 3 years of development. I don't think anyone can argue that this game so far, considering it was supposed to be out in 2012, is nowhere close to where we'd like it. I would have really thought Rocket had a better idea of what he wanted to do with this game before this widespread alpha release. Sadly, I really don't know that he or his team knows where this game is headed or what we should expect.

Has anyone watched any of Rocket's twitch streams? I know it's unrelated to his game-production and team management skills, but listening to him talk and be such a prick on there about people complaining about the game really doesn't give me faith that he's going to bring us a great final product. Afterall, he promised this standalone by the end of 2012 and we'll probably be in alpha until 2015. I just don't know what direction he's going to bring this game, and I don't think he really knows either to be honest.

exactly, good attitude. i'd like to know what happened there though...I had just spent about 3 hours making my way up to the NW airstrip and had just picked up some good stuff. Was up there alone with and ran across another lonewolf and he we talked for a bit and didn't kill each other, which was cool.
