What clothing set/weapons would you add if you could?

You can do remote det grenades right now. -
No roads. Only dreams.

Had that happen to me too. I was deploying a tent underneath an overhang and it went on top of it. Surprising since I can't deploy tents on top of buildings. Tent servers don't work properly because they keep crashing. I have a tent with some spare optics in them and I can't get them because the server's perpetually down.

The game files for projectiles have the damage values for 5.56 listed. All the projectiles have a damage rating listed. You can use 5.56's damage values and damage rating to find out what damage other projectiles do.
-
I dunno what triggers it. The game ran fine in .47.
-
And here's how you calculate percent difference in damage between the ammo types (I learned this from Gews). 7.62x39 has a damage rating of 9.5. 5.56 has a damage rating of 8. (9.5/8)^2 = 1.41 All you have to do is multiply that with the base damage values (5.56's) of blood/health/shock to find out how much damage ammo does. Voila, have some stats. Round Shock (Head)| Shock| Blood| Health| Bleed Chance| Airspeed (m/s)| Stack Limit (rnds) 7.62x39mm 28,200 705 -705 282 2.82 730 20 5.56x45mm 20,000 500 -500 -200 2 884 30

WOBO tends to be wrong. Like that one time he argued that an item with no ballistic protection was better than an item with protection.

here's the spreadsheet a frenchman did, by the way: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/17Vy-Z05L0kZxNiV-ebcRlAORoRvDoURLLzHFgaKSKTA/pubhtml WEAPON FIREARMS Dispersion(semi/full) AK101 0,0015AKM 0,0015 you can literally not be more blasted
-
why do i have to test stats when i can pull them from the game files this is like that AKM initial release where everyone said it had shit accuracy but was actually nospread you're dumb and you should feel that way for trying to weasel out of this one
-
you clearly can't read The AK101 and the AKM have the same base dispersion. However, the furnitures have different dispersion modifiers. the furniture is completely interchangeable too so they can have the exact same accuracy i can't think of an insult good enough for you. maybe go back to reading comprehension 101?
-
are you drunk like i am
-
what are you arguing about, me or the stats copypasta'd form the game? AYYYY LMAOOOOOOOOOOO
-
oh boy time for the slam dunk Both guns have the same dexterity rating so they turn the same. The AK101 and the AKM have the same base dispersion. However, the furnitures have different dispersion modifiers. The most accurate AK parts are the AK101's plastic furniture and a bipod glitched on using a rail. 7.62x39 is 41% stronger than 5.56. AKM/AK101 base dispersion:0.0015;ak101 stock dispersionModifier = -0.00025;AK101 plastic guard dispersionModifier = -0.00015;AKM wood stock dispersionModifier = -0.0002;AKM folding dispersionModifier = -0.00015;AKM rail dispersionModifier = -0.000125; bipod statsdispersionModifier = -0.00025dexterityModifier (affects gun turning rate) = -0.2; AK + AK101 plastic stock + plastic hand guard + glitched bipod active = 2.924 MOAAK + AK101 plastic stock + rail + active bipod = 3.01 MOA AK with AK101 parts (stock AK101) = 3.7 MOAAK with rail + wood stock = 4.042 MOAAK with rail + folding = 4.2 MOAAK with wooden parts (stock AKM): 4.472 MOA Mounted PSO accuracy bonus (apply this number yourself): -0.43 MOA The AK101's only advantage over the AKM is better starting furniture. Use the AKM. If you find an AK101, steal its plastic parts to make your AKM more accurate. You want your gun to look like this with a PSO on: Trivia: An M4 with a bipod + magpul parts + suppressor + ACOG is 2.58 MOA.

Start DayZ Open Task Manager Right click DayZ.exe Affinity Uncheck core 4
-
I fixed my issue with a fix I also used on another game. I prevented DayZ from using the fourth core using task manager. Yep, I fixed GPU crashing by disabling a core that the game didn't use.

This game is and always will be way too military focused by players

Persistent servers do work, but they tend to crash and never come up again.
-
It's in .48 stable. Looks like my crashes are tied to particle effects. That's all I can tell.
-
There are really good stashing spots that are hidden by the terrain's textures. But I'm not gonna tell you. :^)
-
Yep. Try it. Edit: Items that aren't in tents might have something called a half-life so they might disappear after some time.
-
Put your shit in a tree. If you do it right, you can't access it without cutting the tree.

What is it that makes the fps so bad? Engine? DX9?
hotcakes replied to Halven (DayZ)'s topic in General Discussion
You shouldn't care as long as your parts work within thermal specs. The refrigerator computer kids on the internet are funny. What's your voltage? Looks like you're throwing stupid amounts of volts like I was saying. -

Put a rock next to it. Nobody cares about rocks, but when you put a rock next to a note everyone will notice! -

What resolution are you running? And I can't STAND the horrid lag. Having shit FPS halves your firing rate to jack shit, along with the inherent difficulty of aiming with low FPS. I usually get around 30 FPS in cities, but when I go with a group of 5-10 my FPS goes to 15. I have objects quality set to normal for spotting, but I get more lag when there's... lots of objects. P.S You're not getting 4 GHz on Phenoms. It's a brick wall and even if you do you'll be throwing stupid amounts of volts at it.
