OP, there are builds that completely block everything but blood/shock damage so you take 10 hits to kill with 5.56x45, 9 with 7.62x39 and 7 with 7.62x51. Trust me, it's a thing. There's also ricochet. I was testing what would happen if you shot someone in the gun. I shot a friend's nugget once and he got killed instantly with his pants getting ruined. -
It's more special than the other pistols but it still doesn't have a niche. For one, it's still 2x more inaccurate than the SKS. Gr8 tree plinking gun though. For pistols, I'd still use the FNX45 since it's statistically superior to all the other guns.

Shotguns don't lose significant accuracy or muzzle velocity if the sections sawed off are reasonable. The in-game depiction is an exaggeration. P.S I'm talking about the shotgun's accuracy. Guns don't lose or gain muzzle velocity depending on barrel length yet. -

I wish they would reconsider their line of thought. More ammo = less chance of people getting their guns up and running. It's already happened with the AKM and M4. They're a bit more rare now and I haven't seen many of them in my recent playthroughs. -

Crouched in the popo station. Dead. Respawned 50m away from where I died. I warped through the building and fell. -
I picked the M4. The AKM has: -no spread--slightly higher damage multiplier than 5.56x45 because of 7.62x39(we later calculated this difference to be about a one shot difference with stats. However, 7.62x39 can OHKO if the enemy isn't wearing much armor.)-high recoil-high sway. The gun isn't extremely heavier than the M4 but this is a thing.-stupid ammo logistics. It's absolutely batshit hard to manage everything there is to storing the ammo, loading the drum mags, and having the gun fire. The M4 was recently buffed to have better controllability. The gun recoils less now and it recoils diagonally up to the right, not straight left like it used to. It's very good at getting hits in. I hate to say it, but the AKM is a liability and a hassle when it shouldn't be. I would take the M4 and the issue of rarer ammo over the AKM.

I found my AKM at Balota. The parts came from tentville and NEAF. One of our buddies picked up a Longhorn in Balota. It seems too gimmicky for combat, but it's absolutely fun to plink trees with. P.S The longhorn mounts a suppressor and a flashlight even though neither work.

Some thoughts I have. There are mimaxed loadouts that have a bullet-to-kill count of around 10 shots of intermediate cartridges. There's also a way to survive 7.62x51mm headshots. There's a high-end, but it's not really obvious yet. -
AK pistols are an actual thing.

People that complain about zombies take their complaints too far. To deal with zombies, all you have to do is hit them. Most calibers will OHKO them. Axes now OHKO to any part of the body due to feedback. They're literally piss easy to deal with. The only problem I have is that they can walk behind you and emit 0 sound until they hit you. -

ACHTUNG BOTH STOCKS GIVE THE SAME DISPERSION MODIFIER. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THE AESTHETIC. HAVING EITHER STOCK WILL NOSPREAD YOUR AKM.
