With a fix number of buildings that are able to convert and an appropriate amount of time and work you have to provide... and it would be a great base for user-driven content like "tradehouses", "hospitals", "dont-get-to-close-or-you'll-be-dead-houses"... And the ability to lose your house gives the pvp at least one good reason to happen. Maybe the building turns back to standard after a while when no one is doing maintance n stuff.
I just want to share my thoughts about "Tentbuilding" . I would love to see not only small tents that are not really giving you the feel of a shelter (so do dropped backpacks-.-).In such a scenario it would be normal that grouped up survivors occupie lone sheds or houses sooner or later. Safety is a basic need for any human beeing i think... So i guess i wouldnt be that hard to implement if you "pimp up" the textures of a small set of already existing buildings and let the players be able to gather material or something to make one of the houses of Chernarus their home. (again?^^) Edit: With occupied building i mean blocked doors and wildows with small holes for observating the surrounding area, one or two storage boxes depending on how big your house is, things to take cover on the roof for defending your and your mates "home".Maybe even lock up the door with a key that can be lootet or stolen from you. I hope my english is understandable.
