My favorite admin troll message so far: "I am thirsty." They need to change the admin text color, something to distinguish it from ingame messages and BE. I propose magneta.

Yeah that's the idea as I understand it. I noticed that I still bleed if I take a hit or GSW as a freshspawn, but very rarely if I'm fully geared.

Vault (V key by default) and then logoff BEFORE the vault animation finishes. You have to be quick. You'll be on the other side when you sign back in. Worked for me many times. High ping servers make it easier as well.

The GSP thing makes no sense to me since the GSPs seem to tolerate corruption for the most part. I understand the restriction for alpha but I hope they open it up properly during release. Just kick them off the hive if they don't conform, immo.

When damage is reduced by clothing/items taking the hit you generally will not bleed. This is intentional, just not well refined yet. EDIT: As of 0.34, I should add.

Empty servers are usually empty because they're fucky. Unless they just rebooted don't join them. If you want an "empty" server just go for one with 3 or 4 people on it. Odds are you'll never run into them, unless you're in Electro or Balota.

I've gotten kind of bored with this "stable" (mostly because of its instability, crashing out 6 or 7 times before I get a lengthy play session ruins it for me) so personally I can't wait for this update (also no more duped guns, bonus). Lately I've been playing 7 Days to Die, a lame Minecraft/DayZ hybrid knockoff with way funner PVE and no emphasis on PVP. It's ok, but I really want to get back to DayZ, I just can't really play effectively in the game's current state and the experimental branch latency is total shit (except on Hardcore experimental, which is completely empty and thus boring). As team medic I'm not looking forward to carrying a defibrillator though. They're quite bulky. Everything works fine on mostly empty servers, but again, boring, so I'm hoping high pop server stability improves along with the new survival components.

Those server tags are all bullshit. It's more like Russian Roulette signing in to a server. Any one, even something you've used many times before can wipe you guy and throw that condescending battleeye message: Your character has been deleted an admin has been notified. It does seem much more likely to happen on servers with really bad ping.

No Spec. Also, regarding that last paragraph, ZP is just one guy. He didn't solicit spec work. He just used Windows Movie Maker. Thus the statement is deliberately misleading.

Here's my account: I think he was pretty close, before I breached the wall I heard a noise, that really faint sound a mosin makes when someone's scoping around. I moved prone past that area hoping to not make noise. There was very little cover in the area. After I breached I crossed to move to a small group of pines where I could remain hidden for awhile and see if I could spot him. I had an M4 so a prolonged sniper contest would not have worked in my favor. I didn't make it to the pines though. The shot, and there was only one, was damn loud.

Indeed he did. Sorry, all that buildup for such a quick result. My heart was racing the whole time though.

I doubt I'll recover from a 7.62 to the head but impressed that he hasn't finished me yet.
