you cant meet real friendly players in the wasteland anymore. the few friendly players left, who never killed for pleasure or loot, are hiding. we are the shadows, we are the wind. we understood that the only way to help people and survive is to stay hidden and put a bullet into a bandit's head from fair distance. those who scream friendly will most likely murder you when youre not watching, happened to me countless times.

i used to be a hoarding w***e in the mod. i am a proud hoarding w***e. now, there's nothing to do in the standalone, so why they cant add simple tents? this will give people reason to play and stuff to do.. yeah exploring is fun, but the map is too small for a 4 month exploring trip. i loved to hoard stuff for entire armies in the mod... so tents, please?

im just looking for a glorious death. there's nothing else to do in this game... in the mod i used to be a hoarder, hoarding enough stuff for an entire army is fun when you have nothing else to do, i hope they will add tents soon

so there's still some good people in the servers... dont do it, it will make you rage quit and be a bandit - usually after i help people they kill me so i prefer to stay away from them (the only help i give now is a bullet to the head from fair distance - to bandits). just dont do that... most of the people here will just use you.

dont. just dont. i went there, wanted to kill some bandits, ended up with not less than (about) 15 bambies running after me and screaming. one russian guy started yelling to everyone that they have to share and he mentioned everything i had in my inventory (hacking?). i ended up in the 3 store barn (red roof) near the factory in solnichny while hungry pack of bambies ran around me. it was horrible. after about 25 minutes and 3 bambies dead someone else started to shoot at them, the poor, poor guy.... if you have a gun, DONT go to the shore on the new servers. DONT.

the sound glitches are horrible.. the loading gun or foot steps make me s**t myself every time (im playing alone and those sounds are scary for lone wanderers)

only sound glitches but it have nothing to do with lag. the server works pretty well except the zombies and one - two eating delays. you have slightly worse fps but its expected. they worked a lot on the game engine and servers..

2 servers, always full so just join a few times it will let you in. and maybe its fun to watch, but its not fun when they chase you and all you have is sks with a few bullets (m4 could do the job maybe).

stop this disgrace. stop it now. if you want a realistic game dean, why you made it so easy to knock out people? one bullet - unconscious one hit with fist from ''noob'' - unconscious one bug bite you - unconscious one paper cut - unconscious maybe this problem is only with me i dont know but i refuse to play dayz until its harder to get knocked out (i wear bullet proof vest and helmet every time). the most horrible situation is when i try to help some new spawner and while i drop them food they beat me up, full equipped player, with one hit. at least give me some time to react, who is he to knock me out (i was with helmet) in one hit? rambo? many professional fighters cant do that. i loved the knock out system in the mod, why they had to ruin this in the standalone version?

no. he made his millions and now this project is useless to him. he's a jerk. he just want to make more money and now he starting his own gaming company and since dayz made him experienced, famous and rich it will be easy for him.

help the devs with funding? AHAHAHAHA maybe he will help them sponsor their own private island on the caribbeans. 50 million dollars is enough to sponsor dayz for the rest of its development. with this amount of money they could easily hire more people to help them and make things go faster, but they didnt. greedy bastards...

i just hope that they will remove the m4... its over powered and unrealistic. i know, NATO and stuff but its not a reason to find M4 in every school. maybe they should make it really, really rare and that you can only find it in NATO facilities. also, they should replace most of the military gear with realistic loot - soviet and ww2 helmets, soviet and civilian fire arms and more. now people are running around in cowboy hats and M4's while eating chips and drinking cola. ITS A POST SOVIET STATE! add fat zombies and you can rename it to freedomrus

yep. it looks like a total war game. must be fun to fight there while drunk... im russian but i support them.

too bad they are doing it now... there's some epic warfare in kiev right now and i must watch it...

nope. i think that these minigames should be based on realism and you need to learn this skills in real life and not in game. in game you will learn something and then you will be killed and start over - this sucks. players should be able to learn this stuff from youtube tutorials or from their jobs/hobbies.
