You can chamber a single round in the Sporter 22 and the magazines don't seem very rare to me.

You may want to double check your sound device options. Possibly even make sure your drivers are up to date. If none of that helps, it might have something to do with lag or desync.

Have you change your sound setup at all? New speakers, headset, etc? Have you verified your game files in Steam? Are you playing on the experimental or stable servers?

Alright, I have been able to confirm that it was desync that was the root of the gun taking more than a single headshot to kill a zombie. It still sucks when it comes to body shots though. I am also still waiting on a friend to finish up doing real life stuff so he can log on for testing against another player. If anyone else has been or is able to test against other players, please post your results in this thread for all to see.

I have only seen rabbits while scouting the forest for animals and they are still invincible.

You obviously do not understand how game development is handled. I guarantee you that things are being worked out and it is not as easy as just opening notepad and changing a single line of text. The game most likely won't move into the beta phase of testing until the end of the year and probably 6 months to a year of more testing before final release. Either, help test the game and report bugs or go play something else if you want to play a polished product.

I have had some zombies die from a single headshot but not many. I will have to keep an eye on my desync because the only other explanation is I am seeing headshots on my screen but they are not actually registering due to desync.

I pray for a zombie apocalypse every night before I go to bed. So far nothing but disappointment. I would totally be a KOSer in a real life zombie apocalypse. I am prepared and armed to the teeth.
