How the hell do you come to this conclusion when you have never played the mod? Obviously, you are the type that is easily persuaded by things you read or word of mouth. The whole point of developers letting players mod their games is to see what they come up with in order to see what is possible with their game and what players enjoy. In the future, please go experience the things you are criticizing and form your own legitimate opinion on things before coming to a conclusion.

Sorry, but none of the places mentioned here are new. I have spawned in all of these places long before the .42 patch. They may be less common but definitely not new.

Cool, another one of those people who believe that because something never happens to them, the other people must be lying or doing something wrong. It happens to lots of people. Obviously not everyone, but just "fixing your files" isn't going to solve the problem.

Obviously, it doesn't because the modded servers are far more popular than vanilla servers. Just because a handful of people are butt-hurt about private servers, doesn't mean that everyone or even close to majority agree.

This sure is a great QQ thread you have here. Who the fuck are you to tell people how to play the game? If majority of the servers for the mod were ruined by what you claim, that obviously says something about what people REALLY prefer, doesn't it?

Holy bejeezus... The Sporter 22 is the machete of DayZ guns. It doesn't take out zombies with a single headshot and can take up to a full 10 round magazine if you shoot them in the body. The gun is as quiet as you would expect a .22 to be but fire one off and you will soon have 10+ zombies chasing after your ass. In that case, you better have a fireman's axe or a larger caliber pistol if you don't want to run for 10 minutes just to lose the zombies. Unless you are hunting small game or just looking to maim fresh spawns on the coast, this gun is worthless. EDIT: You are able to spray paint the Sporter 22 but the change does not show and an error will pop up every time you load up the game after attempting to paint it. This is happening after using green spray paint and I will see if it has the same results with black spray paint.
