    I have heard a lot of bad things about that particular server. If there truly is abuse happening, they will be shut down and there will be delicious tears for everyone to enjoy on the forums.

    Well, if you have suggestions for the game, there is a section of the forum reserved for them. Just throwing that out there for those who want to make suggestions on how the standalone should be in comparison to the mod.

    Well, if you or anyone else would like to play on a server with very minimal mods just send me a private message for the info. You spawn with nothing but a map and flashlight. There are up to 500 vehicles on the map at once, keymaster mod so you only need one key for all of your vehicles, roaming AI, and AI missions. It's not completely vanilla, but you won't be finding vehicles every 5 meters or spawning with a full arsenal. The guy who runs the server is a friend and has a "no admin intervention" rule. Even if you die or lose something because of a bug or server restart, tough shit.

    See the part in red. There is obviously going to be a lot less choices for your area. If you REALLY have such a huge problem with the choices, please go rent your own server and run it your way. If you can't afford $20-$25 per month to run a DayZ mod server, I think you have bigger problems to worry about. I am not trying to be a dick about it, but there is nothing complaining is going to get done about how majority of players prefer playing in a way that you do not.

    I get that you are upset but the disclaimers for the game notify you of the risks. You got hit by a bug that made you lose your gear. I would suggest waiting a few minutes and try logging onto another server because sometimes you spawn where you logged out and get your gear back after this happens.

    Yes, that sucks but what can you do besides move on to a different server? There are still plenty of choices and you will find that perfect fit at some point. Losing hope after a couple of bad experiences doesn't mean every server is that way or that you need to cry about it on the forums. I read the titles and that is where the part I commented about the lack of using the filter comes into play. Now you can go ahead and continue your shenanigans because you dislike what I have to say, but that only makes YOU look bad.

This is all while you are telling me to work on my personal insecurities and that I don't have to resort to belittling people. Classic stuff, by the way. So what was that you said about ad hominem attacks and venomous snipes? Yes, admin abuse sucks but there is a wonderful thing called choice, which allows you to choose a different server that better suits your taste. It's amazing, I know.

    A wasted report and a waste of moderator time. Just because you don't like something someone has to say and you egg them on in an attempt to get a negative response kind of makes any report you make invalid and might get yourself a warning/suspension. ;)

    He made no points worth noting and looked to be crying because some people had donor incentives or more vehicles on the map. Have you even playd the mod lately? I haven't played on any servers with donor incentives or any ridiculous shit like you guys claim. Oh, that's right... you chose to play on those servers, then cry about it on the forums. Are you so immature that you can't handle being proven wrong that you have to resort to insulting my name? Yes, let's talk about things that don't help your cause shall we.

    I have no reason to be sad because I enjoy the vanilla playstyle, but I am not going to cry about what people do on private servers they are paying absurd amounts of money each month for.

The false information I was talking about was the OP claiming that there are barely any vanilla servers with people on them. This is not true at all.

    You can still find plenty of vanilla servers with high populations so their concerns are false, just like their claims that they will be left with nobody to play with on vanilla servers.
