LOL, a friend and I ended up running through an orange grove and I was highly disappointed that I couldn't pick any of the fresh oranges that were growing. Some things in this game just make zero sense but I have come to terms with them.

For example, a pristine rotten kiwi would be one that sat and rotted whilst being undisturbed. A badly damaged rotten kiwi would be one that was thrown against the wall. It makes sense to me, but I am also as logical as Mr. Spock.

Okay, I thought you were on the experimental servers. There should also be 100 person servers to play with. There was no patch notes this week because the update was nothing more than fixing that horrible memory leak from the previous update.

I can understand the OP's want for a safe haven because if shit hit the fan in real life, everyone wouldn't just kill other survivors on sight for shits 'n giggles. However, we are on the internet where everyone is 7ft tall, 400lbs of pure muscle, and can bench press a Humvee. It is not like supplies are super rare, so there is no reason to KOS or rob people other than to be a dick because you are a pussy in real life. We need more positive human interaction in-game otherwise, this game will only be for a niche crowd and people who will just get bored and move on to something else. -

Man... if anything could turn me into a KOSer, it would be cannibalism. I would really enjoy cooking some new spawns. -
One of my favorite things to do is gather up ammo, good weapon attachments, and other supplies that I don't need and hide them in random bushes so other people can't put them to use.

Personally, I think camps in DayZ should be very similar to what is going on in this picture. It seems like the most realistic thing to do besides setting up shop in an abandoned building.

Another thing that would be nice is having guard dogs that would bark and alert you if zombies or bandits were nearby your camp. They don't need to attack and if the camp gets overrun they can just run away to save themselves. In order to acquire dogs for your camp you would need to find them scavenging for food near towns and lure them with food. You would then continue to feed them until they trust you and will follow you back to camp. What say you? -

I usually take and dump off all the good items in some remote location. Screw people in this game. Everyone just shoots as soon as they see you, so I do everything within my power to screw them over.
