I have pointed out different FACTS while you have pointed out NONE. Is it my opinion that the Glock 18 should be in the game, yes. I am not trying to make up facts why the gun should be in the game, like you are doing to say it should not be in the game. There is no argument that can support the gun NOT being in the game other than personal preference and opinion. However, that is ALL we need to support the gun being added to the game.

There is nothing that suggests only eastern european firearms should be in the game. Again all you have is personal preference and opinion on the matter.

Making a thread that tries to be serious while claiming not to be a troll and complaining about everyone else's posting habits is NEVER going to go over well. Also, at this point in time DayZ IS just another generic shooter, except you need food and drink. -
Look at how many different people have commented on this thread and said no. Now tell me that is majority of the DayZ community or even majority of the DayZ forums. You have nothing to offer that supports your argument that DayZ is an authentic survival game or why the Glock 18 should not be in the game besides your opinion and well, that is not good enough.

The most bizarre thing I have seen is two guys who were force feeding a handcuffed girl rotten bananas at gunpoint and they screamed at me to GTFO and close the door. -
How do you know what the majority opinion is going to be when majority of players don't even use the forums? You can't for the life of you come up with a valid argument why there should be no Glock 18 in DayZ.

The only reasons it shouldn't be in the game is a matter of opinions. Also, if this game isn't supposed to be a bunch of people running around with their "cool pro military weapons" why is it that way already? This game is pretty much Call of Duty with a twist.

I say leave all the guns, just make ammo super rare so every bullet has to count. It would also be cool to have to make your own ammo with rare ingredients that would be weaker than standard ammo. -
Quit bringing up "Rocket's vision" because it is a stupid basis for an argument. Also, visions can easily change. There is absolutely NO reason why the Glock 18 couldn't be in the game.

There is no reason why the gun wouldn't fit in the game other than personal opinion. You can't claim facts when there is already many things that contradict those facts either. Stop pretending that Chernarus is a real country because it isn't and nothing about it screams realistic.

I give you beans because you say something I agree with or is entertaining. I also, happen to agree with your reasoning for creating this thread but it was for nothing because it won't be used how you intended. -
Nothing about the game is authentic because everything is basically taken from two other games. So yeah, authenticity can be thrown out the window. I also never said that the gun looks cool, but having a fully automatic pistol would be very cool. Why does it make no sense for there to be a Glock 18 when zombies can walk through walls and know your location without seeing or hearing you?

The bottom line is, you can't assume what type of person someone is because of the rifle they carry. The only way to make such a decision is to observe the people for a while and if possible make contact with them. I carry an M4 because I clear a lot of buildings and I like having a 30+ round clip just in case shit hits the fan. I don't kill anyone on sight either. Unless I run into a certain hacker, I will blow him away, take his stuff and throw it in a random bush then switch servers.

Authentic to what? If he wants the game to have an authentic feel, why the fuck is there a ton of air fields and military bases in such a small area that houses maybe 10,000 people? Your argument is invalid.

Everyone needs to step away from the realism approach because Chernarus is a fictional country. It is a video game that is meant for entertainment, so why not have some cool weapons to play with? Nothing about this game is realistic and the sooner people realize this, the better.
