It's a survival game. Why would I leave useful items for someone else to use and ensure their survival? They could be the person who shot at me or killed a friend. Maturity has nothing to do with it. It is all about tactics.

Right click on the DayZ .exe file and check "run as administrator". -
I could stuff ammo into an ammo box and put the box into a fire and let it get ruined that way also.

That could be part of the problem. Change it to run as admin and see if that helps. -

I would like to see stats that track how many players you have helped by tending to their various wounds and how many zombies you have killed. I don't want to glorify the killing of other players at all by having a stat that tracks the number of players you have killed or your humanity. The more things in the game to bring the community together, the better. I don't want to get rid of bandits because they have their place as well as the neutral survivors, but we need more of a reason to have friendly interaction between players.

I'm not your mate, lad. No, who cares how many posts anyone has? I have seen people with thousands of posts who post stupid shit they should already know or they don't even own the game. It is not like the more posts you have, the more important or knowledgeable you are.

You might think it is a waste of time and I might only be making things more difficult for a few players but it brings me satisfaction knowing that those people must hike for another 15-30 minutes just to find supplies. Also, I already mentioned how it could make things a hassle for players once the loot spawning is in place. By the time more loot respawns someone else could be in town and kill them.

Why? If I just leave the ruined loot where it spawned, new loot won't respawn in it's place so you're fucked if you don't move it yourself at that point. Also, for now you are screwed until the next server restart and that could be nearly four hours until you are able to find loot in the areas I cleaned out.

But it is the only way to keep the loot out of the hands of other players at the moment so I have no choice.

Actually, I always roll with the healthy status but most of the people I end up playing with do exactly as you mentioned and only eat and drink to remove the hungry and thirsty statuses. Also, playing on a full or nearly full server makes it a lot more difficult to find enough food and drink to get the healthy status within 5 minutes of spawning. Obviously, you spawned on an empty or low pop server.

I doubt most players think ahead and always run around with the healthy status. Look at how many people post and cry about being killed in Berezino and Elektro every day, LOL.
