You two geniuses have obviously never been out in the mountains or countryside far from the big cities to know how dark night really is. Have fun playing like chumps with your brightness and gamma turned way up though.

Ever gone outside into an area without street light such in the middle of the night? Try it some time and come back and tell me how unrealistically dark it was.

Says the guy with his brightness at 100% and gamma at 75%... How about you turn them back to the default settings and let's see how well you do without a light source of some sort.

I think most people go to the low population servers for 2 reasons, to farm loot, and to escape the COD kids who love to grief new spawns. Honestly, I think PVE/RP servers would be just as popular as the PVP servers.

I would love to have a PVE server for role-playing purposes and building sweet bases with people. It would also give the zombies a purpose because right now they are nothing more than an annoyance until you find your first axe or gun and can kill them in one hit. Once private servers are available I am sure there will be a few PVE servers with thriving communities.

The scarecrow in the shitter was in Pustoshka, I think... I don't remember, I was just wandering all over the map that day. Maybe this picture will help you out a little bit. The scarecrow was inside of the outhouse in the background. -

Ruger may have outlets in those areas but you cannot buy the integrally-suppressed MKII's from them. You have to acquire those from specialty firearm shops and they are not cheap. -

I have only played the DayZ Epoch mod but that wasn't until after putting in about 100 hours into the standalone. -

I don't regret purchasing the game at all. I have gotten well over 100 hours of entertainment for $30. I also understand that the game is still in an early development phase and I am merely testing things for the developers in order to provide a better final product.
