That is because the game is in early alpha and people expect the quality of a final product and there has seriously already been multiple threads for damn near everything you can think of.

If this option WAS in the game, I would spend a couple of hours each day and play a recording of Three Dog's radio show from Fallout 3.

Look in the gallery and you will find videos of 2 different cave-like sites or you can just search Youtube for DayZ caves. Anyway, I am sure there are still lots of changes and additions coming to the game to explore and have fun with.

I'm sure it was something that one of the devs thought would be funny. There seems to be quite a few people who haven't come across this before and would like to go check it out themselves, so I posted pics and a general area where I think it is located because I am not 100% sure where it was because I was all over the map that day.

The problem is, they could be broadcasting stupid/annoying stuff just to get people to head there only to be taken out by a team of snipers as soon as they got close.

There will always be the people who gain satisfaction by griefing others and ruining their in-game experience. There will always be those who get bored and decide to mess with people for a different experience and fun. Does it make them bad players? No, they are just playing in a way they enjoy and in an environment that encourages that type of gameplay. I think that once there is a lot more to do in the game, there won't be so much pointless killing and those people will move on to more elaborate things such as robbing you of all your belongings and leaving you barely alive with broken legs, stealing vehicles, raiding bases for supplies, and even having legit clan wars.

This probably belongs in the suggestions forum but I don't think this would work or be a very welcome addition to the game because everyone has different music tastes and there would most likely be some idiot sitting there saying hateful and/or disgusting stuff all day and night long. I certainly would not like to turn on the radio and hear some crappy music or random 12 year old making racist comments.

I have ventured all over the map but I do not remember any cliffs in that area. I shall have to investigate this and take screenshots.
