You seem to be the one who doesn't understand that there is no correct way you should play the game. You play it however the fuck you want. Sniping from 300M is a viable way to play, if you are shooting at someone else who is armed. If you are shooting at unarmed players, you are just a cowardly piece of shit.

No, but we are doing them a favor by coming to their aid when they cry for our help. Our country helps the people of other countries more than our own people. You may see us as sticking our nose into everyone else's business but those other countries are asking us to be there. We actually have the most diverse population of people out of all countries in the world as well. People outside of America should really do some research instead of blindly believing everything their local news outlets have to say.

Actually, it makes them equal because if you can't kill someone who cannot defend themselves for 30 seconds, you really should quit playing the game just as much as the combat logger.

Their characters stay in the game for 30 seconds and the people who can't kill them in that amount of time suck.

Everything you posted is your opinion and here is mine. People who complain about the KOS players are usually new players who don't understand the game yet and being a new player doesn't make you a casual. The other people who complain about KOS are the ones who understand that the game shouldn't be all about server hopping until you are a geared out beast and preying on fresh spawns at the coast. Not wanting helicopters has little to do with finding bases and such but more about trivializing everything by allowing travel across the entire map in 2 minutes and making the map feel a lot smaller than it actually is. Those who want less military grade firearms just want more realism because in a zombie apocalypse situation I highly doubt you would be finding all sorts of firearms and ammunition that were still in usable condition.

Because you work for Bohemia and know the details of the offers(assuming there have been legit offers), right? I would be surprised if the game was finished for the PC by the end of 2016 and then it would be at least another 2 years of porting it over to the consoles. To be honest, I doubt DayZ will EVER see the light of day on consoles.

Adding things to the game that appeal to the western world which consists of a lot more than just Americans or any single race in particular is only going to help sales and is not just making Americans feel more "at home". There is a difference between authenticity and likeness.

First of all, you cannot sacrifice authenticity of a fictional country and I guarantee there is not American stuff in the game for the sole purpose of making American gamers feel more "at home".

To be honest, I don't know how Bohemia hasn't been sued by large corporations for using the obvious likenesses of licensed products. The vehicles particularly come to mind when I say this. They use licensed vehicles but play on the brand names. For example, instead of Toyota there is Coyota which is an exact replica of a Toyota pickup except for the name on the tailgate. There is Datsun pickups that say Sundat on the tailgate, etc. To me this is dangerous territory for the developers unless there is some sort of permission by the companies they are indirectly portraying.

I wouldn't call that dumbing down anything for the masses. That is just a smart way to generate more revenue. Dumbing things down for the masses would be something that impacts gameplay, such as dying but respawning with all of your gear. So far, I think Bohemia is doing a damn good job not dumbing things down for the new generation of entitled kiddies.

No, and that just makes you sound like the typical American hating kid from another country. Look at the statistics across all gaming platforms, there are more gamers in North America than anywhere else in the world. If you want to talk about dumbing things down for the masses, that is something that applies to a certain generation of people worldwide and does not apply to any single country.
