Same. My character on hardcore is 5 months old with nine 60 Round Coupled Mags. And it would be a unicorn if I never took that gas mask off :(

After the new update for DayZ every server I join I have a new character. It is getting really annoying and unplayable now. I have already reinstalled DayZ and no luck it did not change anything.

I fixed it by running the game in administrator mode.

No I do not. Everything is normal. Even once I rejoined the same server and my character wiped. It is just getting really frustrating to the point where I will uninstall the game.

I switched to experimental because I wanted to try it out. However when I try and join it says "Bad version, server rejected connection. I could play experimental fine before the last update for it. Any help welcome.

I just got DayZ Standalone today and I met alot of people. Currently I got killed by some guys who want people to bend down and sing your country's national anthem. Most likely a bug. Although I was trapped in pristine handcuffs for nearly 2 hours for an unknown reason. Thanks to the guys at TMW who helped me out.

This is the only thing i do not like. I mean. In real life your not gonna change in any appearance if you kill someone. Although the blood on hands is a great idea.

So when I startup DayZ and join a server I get nice 40-60 FPS then after playing it drops randomly and I get 5 to 15 FPS. Not sure what this is but if anyone can help that would be great! (Please no, "GAME IS IN ALPHA BLAH BLAH BLAH!".) -Arjuna

This is untrue. Just go to your characters name on the main menu and click it and type a new one. EDIT: I am so dumb. I thought it said Febraury. .-.

I was wondering if there were some roleplaying servers that are open and active. Really hate getting KOSed and I would rather RP it out. Thanks!

Only thing to say is the game is not optimized so getting good FPS is not likely. As some other people have said, even a super computer would play at low fps. As you know the game is in Alpha so it is bound to not be a perfect optimized game.
