Except not as many slots, and no ability to generate any item at anytime, :P. As for the OP, I love this idea, and it would make a lot of sense in an apocalypse like this. Hell, a pistol holster would be a big sell for me, it would have only four slots on it, just enough to fit in a pistol. *Edit* Magazine pouches! Forgot about that!

Not really, but I do have that kind of weapon (in game) and yeah hitting a head at a very long range sucks without a scope attachment, but at his range, he should have gotten those bandits and made them run.

Doesn't matter. Lately it's "You're in my sight!" BANG! Sneaking or not, if you don't shoot first, you're dead.

Why didn't you go into iron sights? You would have hit them.

The game is a giant deathmatch unfortunately. Your only option is to murder everyone and everything in sight. It's why I go onto the low pop servers, and stay away from civilization. Mankind be damned.

My thoughts? The PC/console war was years ago. You people missed your chance to bury consoles to the ground, so stop fighting a useless battle! As many people have said, a console version would only come out after the game has been out for awhile on PCs anyways, and the sales from the game being sold on consoles would add on to the sales from the people who bought the PC version. What does that mean? More $$$ for the devs to use to improve both versions of the game! You do what the game to get better after release right? Right!?

^^^ Absolutely this. As for hospitals being bases, it's totally doable. Though you would need to find a way to fix the windows and doors, since there are no back doors to speak of. Ladders sure, but that's why you have snipers on the roof.

I live with a basic code. Be friendly with me, I'm friendly with you. Point a gun at me, I point one at you and tell you to lower it. Refuse, you die. Try to punch me, you die. If you are armed, and I tell you to raise your hands, and you don't, you die. Too many douchebags that kill just because they can out there. Need to be alert.

Know what we need? A way to track players across servers. That way if some KoS troll leaves a server and hops to another, we can follow him across servers, hunt him down, and constantly kill him or her, and force them to leave the game for good, learn the error of their ways (*Snicker*) or find out if they really are sick sick sick sadists and masochists.

I will be blunt here. For those of you that say that KoSing is a prime feature in this game, you are psychos. If you KoS just because it's fun, or you're bored, you would be dead if this was RL. For everyone else that has a more... logical reason, like extreme paranoia, or very anti-social, you're still nuts, but at least I would give you a chance to calm down before I blow your brains out. With that said, there has to be a balance between the PvE and the PvP elements, and the PvE stuff needs to be improved. I know this is alpha and it's still in the works, so it's very likely that everything said here will happen. Zombies, make more of them appear on the map, large cities and towns would have more of them obviously. Make it so that they can't be killed unless you get them in the head. Noise attracts them, as well as smells, so if you're bleeding, quickly patch that up or you will be drawing them to you. When they attack, if they manage to bite you, you are screwed. There is no cure. You can delay the inevitable, but you will die and become one of them. Now if they give you the option to amputate an infected body part, that might help, but don't always count on it. No safezones, everyone hates those. But player made outposts can help with interaction. Say a good player (Hero or someone who isn't a douchebag) makes an outpost and invites people in to get healed, trade, meet and greet, or even to live there and help rebuild. To prevent camping, have snipers guard the area. If they see a group of people camping with their weapons ready, they will shoot on sight. For those saying "this isn't that kind of game!" I will be blunt again and say, yeah it is. This is a game of survivors trying to live in the zombie apocalypse. Think of The Walking Dead as an MMO. If you don't want or like that kind of game, then kindly leave.

Oh god yeah, this pissed me off to no end. So until rocket can fix this, IMO, game breaking glitch, keep only non essential items in your pants. Otherwise, be prepared to be pissed off.

Well, this turned into a different thread didn't it? I for one don't really give a damn if you're male, female, transgender, a dog, cat, alien, or my other personality. Play nice with me, I play nice with you. Try to kill me, and I WILL kill you. I find you to be a KOSer, well, don't be insulted if I force you to die a slow and painful death... and I will do this to ANY KOSer I see. So be warned... >.<

I had this happen to me last night. I have no idea where I can find wooden sticks, or how I can make some, and there was no morphine in sight. So I managed to climb up a ladder (dead serious, I was just as surprised as you are) then rolled off the roof of the building to my death.

At least you felt bad about it afterwards... douche. As for me, I wouldn't kill a KOSer on sight. Oh no no no. I would knock them unconscious first (and assuming they don't respawn.. rocket please have it where you can only respawn when you die, pls!) and handcuff them, strip them of everything they own. Then when they wake up, I would take their blood, shove rotten fruit down their mouths, and force them to drink disinfectant spray. After that, I knock them unconscious again, and leave them to their death.

I see what you're going for OP, but unfortunately it won't work. As others said, it would have people camp outside with their snipers ready to pick off anyone that comes out. Wanna know my way of dealing with KoSers once and for all? Zombies. Lots and lots of zombies running at you. You fire a gun, you better run like your pants are on fire, because you just rang the dinner bell. :D

I would love to see people take over a super market, and turn it into a giant bazaar. Or even better, take over the whole city and make it one big outpost.
