well the thing is -SA have its own Storyline (not the arma nonsense) -the whole map is in a too good condition i really cant see anything that shows signs of heavy fighting, hell even the buildings are free from bullet marks etc. No roadblocks or sandbag barriers........nothing.

i usualy find shoes......shoes everywhere enough to open a sweatshop and sell them to nike <_<

my suggestion Glowsticks you get them everywhere in the world and they would be pretty usefull at night. for marking houses for making traps for sweet russian ravepartys

yeah on the other hand ive build my custom watercooled rig with less than 300 and it rocks dayz pretty damn good B) you dont need always the latest and best hardware ;) i used mainly secondhand or b-grade parts

no against those tacticool predator style scopes but civilian hand held thermal scopes/nightvision would be nice you get them even in grocerystores :D and i hat to admit but some lowtec military style would fit great since its an standart eqippment for helicopter pilots and we have an airbase

some parts of the dayz community :facepalm: minimap = bad! finding american weapons everywhere = good! minimap = unrealistic! be able to use/maintain every gun = realistic! minimap = better add more automatic weapons and Grenadelauncher also dont forget year 2000+ sniper rifles! well why not both worlds? a self "writing" map like DOOM had, over a decade ago :wub: you had to visit the places in order to create a map....would support exploring alot

thats nonsense and a lame excuse cause we test dayz and not the new amazing military gun simulator ......with zombies ive found with my last character 5 guns! but not a single can of food :facepalm: i want test things...but yet i cant even go in a city without getting shot. how many "testers" care about bugs when they just can kill everyone on the beach? how many players find out that water do the same falling damage like concrete? or that drinking from a pond is very difficult? but hey the M4 isnt accurate enough......the mosin do too much/less damage yeah we really need those infos

i think Military weapons should be mostly found on Soldier Zombies.... and locked! places. Ive remember seeing a vid from the mod where they had to find the correct code for the Bunker. thats why i think it makes NO sense at all that we find assault rifles in barracks :D Its like: Oh war is over and Zombies coming......lets put our guns away and welcome our new undead overlords :huh: zombies should be the MAINTARGET to get some good loot. Atm we have Zeds with full Gear running around.....but no pistols?Rifles? empty backpacks? Not even a friggin Map? :huh: ive remember from my time that i had tons of crap in my pockets.....from cigarettes to small tool bags oh and before someone says: that would increase the gun spawn! Nope it wouldnt, since we damage/broke items when we kill someone. So it would be pretty bad if we pump a Zed full of lead and find out that we fubared all the mags or the gun that he had

kinda funny how the nay sayers didnt bring up a single valid point against the safe zone idea.....and if you read between the lines you get OMG SOMEONE TRY TO TAKE AWAY OUR EASY KILLS iam pro safe zone, remember diablo 2 ? put in a "camp" and the same trade dialog screen and it would be a huge improvement you dont like the Zone? dont go there you want kill freshspawns? get to the fucking beach would it be a bad thing for the "survivor" feeling? NO, cause think about this youre wounded and have a goal to escape and if lucky you get there medical help youre a bandit? Fine steal some crap and sell it to theyre owners again :lol: you have a pistol but want a mask? go into the zone and trade it instead of killing 5 or 6 guys in order to get it sofar every post apocalyptic movie that i know had some kind of "safe" zone..... its not about turning dayz into a "other" game (which moron bring up such nonsense?) its about making the feel and gamplay better for all. atm only the wannabe l33t PVP players have really fun and oh wonder in the mod it wasnt usualy the "lets kill em all" guys which had the most fun. You geared up,fixed a car and tryed to get a Heli......over and over again so whats wrong with adding some fun for people that like Hunting and sell/trade Meat? adding a neutral zone would benefit any kind of playstyle

yeah after the Bundeswehr (german army) switched over to the g36, you could find them in every east european country well but be prepared to get a few with bend barrel :D we abused them usualy as club or hammers during the service

well i got shovel´d by two douches at the beach......over and over again(somehow i didnt get a diffrent spwan location) thats not even a challenge....thats pure frustration
