Was running through the outskirts of a town, weapon at low ready, zombie agro from 1k away and she sprints up behind me hits me once before I put one in her head. Open up to bandage and I notice the items in my assault vest we ruined, again... This happened yesterday with one hit as well, vest was pristine and now ruined with one hit, is this suppose to be happening? can anyone tell me..

Gear was completely dry, just happened again this time with my shirt and ruined ammo case inside shirt but ammo in the case was ok, totally weird

Waiting for Host 7 minutes 30 some odd seconds ( didn't start watch right away).... exit game, close game, relaunch game, get a 300 second spawn timer lol.... Mission complete.

Are they suppose to be able to damage gear with their hits, had 2 assault vests ruined and stuff inside.

Now that's Funny! Well it looks like others have had other pieces of clothing ruined as well by zombies, so that answers my question I wanted to know. I was just thinking since it happened to me twice in the same area it was just hitting the chest and destroying equip in the vest but seems to be spread around. I am not sure that zombie mechanics should be able to melee damage you, unarmed at that, and destroy items like a pistol ion your assault vest though. Just gonna post it on bugs and see if it working as planned or not.

Just wanted to know if anyone has experienced this I remember reading about zombie attacks are going to be directed at chests more, and this coincides with chest area but one hit ruining assault vest twice in two days seems kinda weird to me.

Just a generalization, typically they run at you from 500m-1k while running with weapon out they got that hyper sensitive hearing and all lol. Serious note though it either had to be a respawn from a player killing in front of me or one of the invisible zombies from behind a good ways, because I didn't hear or see her until the jumping attack on my face lol.

So after this current patch (115106, server 34.0) Log in just fine loads generally pretty fast. Approximately 30 or so seconds into game play, start to lose massive FPS slowly at first then really fast until finally game freezes completely. After it completely freezes I have to use CTRL+ALT+DELETE to exit the game and I notice in task manager memory usage is around 850,000 K. I have tried on Desktop and Laptop and both have been running everything very high setting since patch have moved setting down to normal then to low still with no luck. Yeah I have overcome it will just killing my old guy off from last build and making sure I don't keep glitched items.

I was able to log back in this afternoon, and I found more glitching items. These Items I have picked up in houses or buildings since patch not sure if they were glitching right away when I picked them up but they definitely were glitching in my bag when I logged back on, I dropped them and left behind and able to stay lag free for the time being will see how it lasts.

I can't even stay in game long enough to drop everything it freezes up that fast now.....

Rocket was saying something about taking care of a memory leak on Monday on his twitter account earlier this weekend, maybe that will fix it.

did you buy chance see how much memory dayz.exe was using in the task manager? mine was 1,237,500 K when it froze up on me last time that has been the most I have seen it.

I had no protector cases at all this morning when it started happening to me. and no painted items either .

Reloading the Mosin, and realizing I haven't actually reloaded it the game needs to wait 45 seconds to do the animation then the mosin is reloaded!

This was on a new Character as well, No gear brought over from last patch at all. And never found a glitching or flickering item in bag, last item I picked up was a cowboy hat though, didn't lag me out when I picked it up wore for about 45 minutes before issues started again so don't believe it is related to that item.

Yeah there is still an issue, I was running north of Zelenegorsk after not having any issues at all for over an hour and I started lagging bad until it froze again and had to CRTL+ALT+DEL out to force close program.Then I logged on this morning was doing fine for about 4-5 minutes then lagged out until froze again their is an obvious issue somewhere that needs to be fixed.

I have been playing for around 2 hours straight now with no issues at all, got rid of the glitch items FPS is fixed and no more freezes.

Well I have definitely fixed the problem, anything and everything glitched in my bag I dropped and I was able to play just fine. After I did that I jumped off a building to respawn a new character and so far nothing I have picked up has glitched in my bag running just fine, so it definitely seems to be an issue with gear carried over pre patch into this one.

Unfortunately no paint and not dropping my M4 either since its fully kitted out minus suppressor. I dropped everything that was flickering or had no color so we will see if that works if not guess the M4 will just have to go until this all gets fixed.
