It´s always "good" to know, that the game is not optimized at all and you will be experiencing fps drops due to servers and the game itself, while your PC can be "ok" for the game. e6600 duo core 4gb drr2 800 geforce 550ti 1gb (I know my CPU slows down the graphic card) That´s the machine I was playing DayZ on, untill it died. With this crappy thing I´ve managed to reduce the lags in Cherno/Elektro to playable. I had my 15-20 fps there. On some servers thou.. it was lagging like hell and that was the servers problem. Save money for a new PC and wait for updates with optimizations.

I had a situation which made me paranoid for a moment. I was at the NE AF inside the prison, 2nd floor. I´m sitting and waiting for a few buddies and suddenly somebody logs in, also inside the prison. I clearly saw his backpack from 3rd person and I´ve been waiting for him to come up but he was still looting the empty 1st floor. 5 minutes, 10 minutes and I still can hear the footsteps. After I guess 15 minutes I could still hear the steps and I recognized that the sound repeats itself! I went down to check, nobody was there anymore but the footsteps sound is still there, repeat after repeat. A few weeks later I went to this prison again, pretty quiet there, but after we were done with looting it, that same footstep sound appeared again and started to repeat itself :D Have fun with such stuff because it will get you paranoid for sure...

I´ve been in these buildings like at least 10 times and died only once. Glitched inside the wall and insta death. I had no problems with the ladders in these apartments. Found a mosin and a PU in one of them. Some food, some cloth. To be serious it´s not worth it to go inside of them because it takes way too much time to search for loot + yeah you rly can glitch to death. The only reason I will ever go there again is to snipe on the roof and again - these roofs are not very good sniping spots. Skip ´em all

This is a game and everybody is doing one thing - having fun. It´s just that having fun is killing others/helping others/gearing up. You like to help? Do so. Want to kill somebody, goddamn hell yeah! DO SO! Again - this is a game and it´s so pointless to talk about KoS or friendly players. We have some people on this forum which say something like "Hey bandits, how can you carry so much blood on your hands" You know... When I read such bullshit I must laugh. They do not have any blood on their hands, all they do is - having fun. So have fun or stfu

Well my PC was too old for this game, now it`s dead. BUT I`ve managed to get rid of the lags in towns like Cherno and Elektro. Disable shadows, clouds, all texture filtering options. Set everything on very low BUT keep your object details on normal (this is crucial for sniping) I guess you already changed the settings in your config. If you think your skill is way too low - train it on zombies and very small objects. Just like in aim maps in CS 1.6 back then. Getting stucked is not your personal problem, everybody has it so... I think you just have to believe a little bit more in yourself :)

"where are mosins?" EVERYWHERE and there are too many of them

I wish the weapon drop to be greately reduced because I can find up to 4 weapons in one single building. If you can't find a gun - go to a location which is not looted/open your eyes. Mosin or SKS - the very first (and I mean it) items which I find when respawn

Would love to help you ingame but I can currently do it only on the forum, my PC has died and I can`t afford a new one in the next few months 3rd day without my PC (using a very old notebook and that makes no fun at all) THE REAL LIFE IS REAL!

It must be the scope, in this game you have to adjust them. I didn`t know that as I was playing at my friends place. I had a mosing and LRS, situation was different but - I was shooting on 3 guys, I am on the highest point in Cherno (the silo), the 3 guys were on the other silo. So the distance was pretty short (short enough to hit directly in the head when pointing on it) I missed all the 5 shots, they all went too much to the left, too much. Buddy told me to adjust the LRS but I was dead already ^^ The distance was like max. 100 meters... I think the problem is the scope and not the weapon itself.

The most annoying thing about this game is the forum with such topics.. sorry man. Reallllly annoying

Skip Elektro? Why? Because YOU get killed there? I always go to Elektro/Cherno and I always manage to escape the towns with tons of food, SKS/Mosin and ammo for them. If I spawn in Berezino I just go search for a couple of cans, I go drink to the pond and after that I rush straight to the NW AF... Your route looks like a route of a drunken boy trying to get home
