Another aspect is bothering me. Players are much stronger than zombie. I mean zombie takes one shot to kill, player? 2-6, depends on.

I can't see the way it may help at zombie apocalypse but Im surely waiting for LMGs, hand grenades (F1 grenade) and MAYBE some stationary HMGs that may be found at military bases, carefully detached and replaced anywhere you want to making you unable to shoot, extremely slow on moving and just an easy target while you're moving it somewhere.

Good ideas sir! About spawning - if I understood it right, Dean 'Rocket' Hall wants to make some sort of dynamical spawning of everything, not just scripted. So I guess items (vehicles too) would respawn in conditions of some certain rules.

More they reach satifsying level of optimisation, more zombies, loot spawn, any other stuff would be implemented. And yes, till it hasn't announced, wait it on wednesday.

I guess old UAZ vehicles of 1970's would fit DayZ perfectly. Its speed is not above 120 km\h (78 mph), even lower I guess.

I faced some dude with Izh once. He shot twice at me at distance 1.5m - 2m and caused me a little bit more than... no damage. Laughing loudly I took him off with Blazer. So, Izh is epicly random.
