After countless hours searching through servers, I thought of a way to tell what server you saw that super rare tent on... Under history, it would be awesome if the devs put in something like a 'last joined' section, so you could see if that's the server you've been searching for. PLEASE IMPLEMENT THIS!

Look, I've played my fair share of early access titles that are poorly optimized. But the thing with those games is, is that optimization happens as soon as it should happens. I have had over 600 hours on DayZ, and I love the core gameplay and the game itself. What really bothers me is that I can hardly run DayZ on lowest settings @ 25 FPS with my new 270X. All I want is to be able to play this great game above 25 frames. Instead of adding 7 different AKs, please optimize the game. Now, I hope the mods don't see this as a rant. All I want is for hopefully the game to be playable. Thanks for reading

Optimization should be the #1 Priority, not 7 different AKs.

To all you who are calling me a 'kid' and complain about how I 'don't know how game development works', do me a favor: Get your facts straight before you make assumptions and jump to conclusions. I have had over 20 years playing games. I know how this works. All I want is to see this game optimized. -
Ok, so a couple of months ago when 0.46 was in experiemental, I remember that the servers were only restarting very 20-48 hours. This was very good because I had to actually socialize. I had to scavenge. I had to find alternative ways to stay alive. I didn't kill a person. You know why? Because loot in general was so rare, it had begun to gain value, as did socializing. I really hope they do the longer restarts and lower loot counts, as it made DayZ feel like a true survival experience. I've always wanted to go back to that... Please devs, if you have the time, try puttin up more servers with 36 hour+ restart cycles, and read the feedback :)

I think DayZ would look a lot prettier and more authentic if more types of grass were added. A Few Suggestions: •Ravine forests (class Carpino-Fagetea, alliance Tilio platyphylli-Acerion; Figs 14f & 15c) occur in ravines and on steep slopes, most commonly in deep river valleys. Tilia cordata and T. platyphyllos, with an admixture of Carpinus betulus, are more common in drier and warmer habitats at lower altitudes or on upper slopes, whereas Acer pseudo- platanus, Ulmus glabra and Fraxinus excelsior with an admixture of Fagus sylvatica and Abies alba are typical of wetter and cooler habitats at higher altitudes, on lower slopes or mountain-tops where is high precipitation. Ravine forests are capable of vegetative regen- eration after disturbances caused by soil erosion or rock fall on steep slopes. •Vegetation of fens and transitional mires (class Scheuchzerio palustris-Caricetea nigrae) occurs in habitats that are permanently saturated with water and poor in available nitrogen and phosphorus, in which undecomposed litter of sedges, other herbs and mosses accumulates to form a peat layer. Although some fens and transitional mires existed on the territory of the present Czech Republic already in the Late Glacial and remained in the landscape throughout the Holocene (Sádlo 2000), most of them developed at sites of for- mer forested seepages or carrs after deforestation, especially during the medieval coloni- zation of mid-altitude areas (Rybníček & Rybníčková 1974, Rybníčková 1974, Rybníčková et al. 2005, Hájek et al. 2011). This vegetation varies along a ‘poor-rich gradi- ent’, i.e. from acidic, base-poor and species-poor types to species-rich calcareous fens (Hájek et al. 2002, 2006). Calcareous fens with short sedges (Carex davalliana, C. flacca, C. flava, C. nigra and C. panicea) and several species of specialist herbs and mosses such as Bryum pseudotriquetrum and Campylium stellatum (alliance Caricion davallianae) occur mainly in the Carpathian flysch zone and in the lowland areas with Cretaceous marlstone in eastern Bohemia (Fig. 18b), however, in the latter area many sites have been drained. Other fen types occur mostly at higher altitudes (Fig. 18c). At some mid-altitude sites, especially in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, fen vegetation contains a mixture

AS Val - A fully-automatic assault rifle with an integrated silencer. Uses 9x39mm. (Very strong round) Claymore - A high explosive land mine, often used for anti-infantry battles. (Not very effective against armored vehicles) AK Attachments - Kobra Sight, AK R-03 Silencer, AK Foregrip. -
I fired an AKM into the prison wall whilst 5 meters away. In real life, it would take 0.00031 of a second for the bullet to reach the wall… In DayZ, it takes 1.2 seconds for the same distance…

Did ANYONE read the FAQ? I guess not, because according to Dean Hall "The PS4 version of DayZ WILL NOT affect the current experience for PC users. In fact, it will benefit the PC version - DirectX 11, 64 bit, better visual experimentation. Now guys, don't pretend to be experts in game development, marketing, and console developers... because most of you probably aren't.

I'm very pleased to see how hard the development team is working. Updates almost every week. :DUpdates contain game-enhancing features (that are always perfected).And all of these items are on-schedule! Thank you very much for the hard work team! All 2,411,206+ players appreciate these consistent updates. Beans for all of you devs :beans:

Wouldn't it be cool if you could attack tents and other large items onto your mountain backpack? I think it would help save space, but your character should move slower. Here is an example image

If you guys think the current hacking status is bad (teleporting, ESP, speedhacks, infinite ammo), then imagine what hackers could do with the source code. Please put hackers on the VERY TOP of your priorities list. Tents are cool and stuff, but hackers need a lot more attention...

You know, survival is supposed to include 'getting desperate', and starving. These 12 hour restarts made loot very hard to find, and by decreasing loot, people start interacting because they are low on food/drink. For the first time, I have felt that DayZ was a truly harcore survival game.

Did you try clearing the DayZ Epoch cache? DayZ Commander>>Install/Update>>Click 'info' to the right of DayZ Epoch>>Clear Cache -
So, with the recent introduction of cooking, I figured I'd start with my wishlist for future patches. SALMONELLA POISONING: When handling raw meat, gloves would be required to avoid poisoning by Salmonella, which would make you throw up randomly, eventually killing you. SLICE/GUT AN ANIMAL INTO A SELCTED AMOUNT OF PIECES: When gutting an animal, there would be an option to cut into thirds, fourths, or even eighths. This list is going to grow/shrink for a while B)

I was thinking: what about naval ships being docked in places like Berezino/Svetlogorsk docks, and the Elektro docks. Cool Ideas for the Location: Boats would spawn in a different area of the dock on server restart.Boats could have traps, which were used in the early days of the apocalypse (random holes, mines, explosives on the floor). Let the boat tell the story of what happened to the crew (blood stains & bloody words on the wall). Also, I was thinking: Why not make environmental objects like cars and the (permanent) helicopter crash sites (picture below) spawn in different locations? NAVAL BASE EXAMPLE HELICOPTER CRASH SITE EXAMPLE

Exactly. I know the engine has the power, but it's the effort that has to be put in to make this work. Yeah I totally agree. This would add a whole new level of immersive gameplay. Just think of seeing 50,000 metric tons of post-apocalyptic medal when you spawn in to the game for the first time.

After looking at animal species who populate the real Chernarus, I came across some animals, and if they would be put into the game, it would feel very immersive. Bats - They would hang in caves/under rocks hanging off edges (like the rock formations north of Novodomitrigorsk), and if somebody walked by, some of them would fly out in large groups. Just imagine seeing bats fly of a cave in the distance at dusk... spooky! Wolves - They would populate the more rural/forest based areas of Chernarus. They would fight you for your catches like Deer and Pigs. Just imagine seeing a pack of 6-7 wolves chasing a deer, or chasing you... Lynx (Less know, so I put a picture below) - They would populate the highest regions above sea level, like the rock formations to the most Northeast point of the map. Just imagine seeing a tail of a cat flopping around behind a bush at night... or yellow eyes :o LYNX
