Before we get started let me give you some of my PC specifications: -Intel Core i5 4670k -Gigabyte 2 GB GTX 760 Core Clock 1105 MHz -8 GB 2400 MHz Dedicated RAM My motherboard and fans are in good shape. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, about 2 weeks ago I started noticing MAJOR lag and desync accross all DayZ servers. I checked my ping, bandwidth, and download/upload speed (Download = 15 MB/s::Upload=8 MB/s::Ping=26). I don't what what is going on, and the game is unplayable even at lowest settings with a high quality dedicated GPU. I love DayZ, but I can't play unless soemone can help me with this... Is DayZ compatible with DirectX 11? If not, how do I manually force it to be? Is there any way I can get the DirectX files without having an admin password?

So about 3 days ago, me and my friend joined a completely empty server. After about an hour of walking Chernogorsk to meet up, we finally met up. When we met up, I checked the player list. About 2 minutes later, we got shot by someone with an M4A1 and died. While my friend was alive for the brief moments after I was shot, he checked the player list. NO ONE WAS THERE. (Very) Similar events have happened 3 TIMES after the event described above happened. A: This is some sort of hack that is on the up rise. B: There was a bug with the player list, even if another player did join our server, we were in the middle of no-where. I would love to see if any of you guys have been experiencing these events.

The reason I'm saying this is not because I'm mad about my fully-geared out survivor, but because it has happened 3 times after it first occurred on Thursday.

The following are some ideas for how to make zombies more balanced: Make a mix of fast and slow zombiesMake zombies respawn on a broader radius (800-1600 Meters)Make military zombies slower, but harder to kill (Headgear, Body Armor ETC.)Make more zombie attacks, some requiring a zombie to cool down. These are just some ideas for balancing out zombies in the next couple of patches. Be sure to leave your ideas as a reply down below.

What I mean by 'cooldown' is not zombies to stop attacking you (for a brief moment), but for certain attacks to make a zombie fall over (using the ragdoll effect).

Zombies is the current patch are WAY too fast, damaging, can see from an unrealistic distance. Also, any zombie in real life cannot tear your shirt/coat to shreds in 1 scratch. Please put in a mix of slow and fast zombies, as just having fast ones is extremely unbalanced. The question I have is: In a real-world scenario would a rotting corpse run faster than a living & breathing human being? -
I was hoping that maybe DayZ could get a matchmaking system like GTA Online... where players out there only to make the game miserable for others (bandits) are only accepted in servers that accept bandits. And the 'Bandits' tag on your survivor would only last 24 hours of so, not forever.

Can someone tell me when DayZ Patch 0.42 will be implemented into stable? We have been waiting about 2 weeks now! I have noticed significantly better client perfromance and a lot of game-breaking bugs HAVE been fixed. -
Here are some suggestions for making zombies more fun/scary, which would increase the level of enjoyment of DayZ. Zombie will run faster when they first see you, then will start to slow down if you get farther away, but they do not get tired during most of the chase. Zombies will slow down if shot in the legs, but will keep going. ONLY headshots can kill zombies. Zombies will attract other zombies if they see you. Zombies wear civilian clothing in civilian areas, while they wear military clothing in military airstips/bases. If zombies hit you 3-4 times in a row they will give you an infection, which is uncurable.

Please post a list of GPUs that have been optimized for DayZ. I have been doing some research on GPU optimization, and I have heard that since it's in alpha, there isn't much. I have been playing DayZ on the family PC (with very poor performance on a 650 TI), but I am soon building my own, so I would greatly appreciate if any developers could tell me what GPUs are optimized and what GPUs are not optimized.

If you feel that some of the following suggestions would not fit in a hardcore-realism survival game, feel free to use constructive criticism in the comments. Part 1: Agriculture Realistic crop growing, that means weather and lack of care effect the crop. So if it rains, the crops will grow better, while if it is cold, the crops will start to die. Harvesting crops, harvest seasons come after a certain amount of days of playing. So after [XX] days, the crops will be ready to harvest. Crops will not appear for other players after logout. Animals can eat crops if not properly protected with a fence or cage. Pesticides can be used, but will make you sick if not cleaned. Part 2: Animals Traps can be crafted from medal or wood, and vegetables and meat can be used to attract animals.Animal meat can be cut into slices, but the player decides how many slices to cut.Animals can be hunted and will have diffferent blood levels depending on the animal.Blood trails will be trailing if an animal is shot.
