So, after hours of thinking about how horrible it is that everybody spawns in one section of the map, I came to offer some suggestions: By the way, I get that there are new areas of the map that need testing, but cramming everyone into one small section of the map is getting pretty old. Some spawn suggestions: NORTHWESTERN SPAWNS »Novy Sobor »Stary Sobor SOUTHWESTERN SPAWNS »Kamenka »Chernogorsk If possible, try to add spawns in other locations, but also make a NE spawn the most common.

BEFORE I SAY ANY OF THIS I fully understand this game is in the early stages of Alpha, and I get to expect bugs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, after twice walking to Northwest Airfield and randomly dying while walking on a road, I decided to talk about incomplete and possible long time issues that have not been addressed. Incomplete textures are not acceptable. Even though it is in Alpha, why didn't the team complete the textures? It's gonna take longer to repair/remake the textures that it would to just test and complete all of them. I mean sinking through the floor/dying when spawning in is not a random bug, it is an incomplete texture. Please fix this bug, as it seems to get more and more common with each update.

It's not that I want to be a bother.. it's that thousands of bugs are reported everyday; making it hard for certain reports to gain notice.

Experimental Server Restart Times? [Dev Answer, Please]

I was just wondering... What times a day do the United States experimental servers restart? -
So after about 8+ hours of running around, getting shot 8 times, getting fully looted, I am now stuck in a slanted green-ish house in Vybor. Any ideas on how to get out? My friends have gotten out of this glitch, so I know there is a way without dying.

There is squad clothing to help tell friend from foe: Colored Berets (4) Color-patterned Bandanas (8) Beanies (4) Rainjackets (6) Shirts (20+) Bright-colored shoes (10+) Boots (6)And 143 more items... I hope you get the point... that there are ways to tell friends from foe. Just try to get over your dreamlist and use what is at your disposal: 200+ items. Next time you post, think about what you sound like and what you are asking. Thanks. Nathan E. I hope this gets locked B)

For the clothing: Stick to camo. In the mod, bandits wore a mask. That's it. By the way, don't mess with anybody with a red jacket since they are probably a blood B)

To be a hero, Never get attched to your gear. If you get attached and you die, you will start to revert back to KoS (Kill on Sight) because of fear of being killed. Help people. Give people food, drinks, and some equipment to help get them started. Travel with a squad. Stick to an ideal: kill anyone who has better gear and who is walking with their gun up. Walking with their gun up means they failed to follow rule #1. Help everyone go you know is not a threat. Don't kill anyone you don't need to. And remember, try to teach the bandits a lesson. (P.S. Feed the bandits worms ;) )

Now on Steam, this game is tagged as 'Simulation, MMO, Action, Horror'. Part of the horror is that the game is so realistic, so if you say "Hey friend!", and the guy shoots you, that is 'horrific'. It looks like you are going to have to take some time to remeber what your friends look like, just like in real life. This game is a realistic-apocalypse horror MMO, isnt it?

So, with hunting coming very soon to DayZ, I figured why not implement traps as well? Here are some examples: TRAPS Non-lethal trap to avoid decomposition.A lethal trap to prevent possible escape and fully secure your catch, but there would be a risk of decomposition.They would be craft-able from wood and rope, as well as maybe scrap medal, if it ever comes to DayZ. BAIT Vegetable bait, to attract rabbits and other rodents I hope you guys have some suggestions, and if you do, leave them below!

So I came up with a cool idea that would allow for very realistic (and frightening) combat and hunting situations. One of my ideas was for blood trails for players and animals when shot. PLAYERS: •Players will leave a bigger blood trailer the more they are shot, but will be harder to smell. •There will be messages saying 'It smells like dry blood' or 'It smells like a rotting corpse (only when a dead body is around)'. ANIMALS •Animals will have a smaller blood trail, but the smell will be easier smelt at a longer range. •There will be messages saying 'It smells like dry blood' and 'It smells like a dead animal (only when the animal is dead)'. I hope you guys like this idea. Leave your added suggestions for this thread below.

Nightvision: Add VERY rare loot spawns for the Battery/ChargerAdd the NVGs to spawn ONLY at NWAF so they you have to travel long and hard to get night vision. Make the Batteries rechargeable, at a charging base or something. GPS: Make a hunter's and a military GPS. Make the hunter version in yellow or camouflage (maybe orange?)Make sure players have to pull it out to use itMake it like Minecraft where you can pull the map out and look where you are going while you have the map out. Make the military version have a satellite map.
