Well today there was only 5 people on the server so I wnet to the airfield and boy was it dissapointing, found more stuff at cherno! So im off north now I guess as that has gotten the most votes.

I've actually found more B95's than axes! I personnally would like there always to be SkS's so if I die and get get my survival gun forever back :D. But yeah There is alot of guns now, luckily not many can actually aim. (Only done a person has ever killed me was with an exe, been shot at 4 times now, even once at point blank and his M4 hit my FNX which saved me from dyeing XD)

Rocket said they hope to add this! It would be great, they should roam down main roads and through main cities like cherno, helping route out camping bandits

You could still find communist propraganda there, after all the old soviet apartments were still there and because chernarus is still relatively poor (or was) they probably wouldn't waste money painting over such communist paintings on walls etc -

Thank you for the reply. The AKM is the more common version of AK-47 (same but with differently produced receiver and muzzle brake) so I guess that will be added one day after the 74m -

Dayz is the only game where doing nothing is actually enjoyable, the fear of dying is so great that I now live in a small town where no-one goes just so that I can sit on top of a crane for hours seeing if there is a zombie to shoot at. -

Same! Hell the first time I shot someone it was out of pure fright, went out into a corridor of the barracks and there was some guy standing there literally jolted and just spammed by SKS into him, he turned and spammed his M4 into me but I hit his gun so he completely missed, then he started bleeding I hid in a room, and he did the same in the other after spamming 2 more mags down the corridor and I was so scared and I didn't want to kill him as I said to myself, remember how you would feel if someone killed you with that much gear, so I decided to log out so I didn't have to kill him as he obviously didn't trust me to agree to a cease-fire. Thinking back, should I of killed him? Because is what I did combat logging despite the fact I did it to save him ( I could of killed him easily I heard him bandaging when he retreated back to his room) That made me so scared of other players I refuse to go to airfields and now spend my time happily in a town with no name in a place no-one goes too, with a nice hospital, garage, train station, construction site and my current place of logging out sleep a wooden lodge in the forest next door where I plan to never see an unexpected arrival ever again. -
Yeah it depends on luck mostly, really in the current situation your only hope is to go to the big coastal cities, yeah more people but there is alwasy food and drink unlike smaller towns inland.

No PKP, PKM is more appropriate, older, use by CDF and more common. No PP2000 or Bizon, wayyyyyy to new and rare, (Barely anyone uses these guns outside of russian police, MVD/OMON and special forces) Of course add AKM to list, always needed. Other suggestions: Saiga M semi-auto rifle, fairly commen rifle in Russia, up there with the Tigr really, would fit great in Chernarus (close to russia, large woodland so lots of hunters, these are hunting rifles) http://www.izhmash.ru/eng/product/saiga.shtml And TIgr, similar to SVD, this or SVD would fit although I would prefer the tigr as it would be more commen than the SVD (SVD = military base and airfield only, Tigr = barns, hunting stands and some houses) -
Yeah would love snow, I was wondering if it was possible to make it snow in the map and have the ground textures change like in GTA but probably not due to the engine, but a snow map would be great, e.g taking some sort of 'survivors train' at the north of chernarus will then change you to another server which has the snow map and mountains which I think fits zombies more than takistan (Empty desert with nothing really anywhere 'shiver')

I personally think that zombies should be not as dangerous to new spawns, but more dangerous to people who have kit. Becasue atm All but 1 of my deaths were from zombies, and it was always because I was a new spawn or I hadn't gone to a big city for an axe and I then get caught by a zombie, which I can outrun and I cant beat easily in a fight so I either have to run forever or get killed because running attracts more. Zombies should be more dangerous though to those which have guns and axes, e.g once I find an axe I dont care about sombies anymore they are just a nuisence and I never use a gun on a zombie because I thinks its a waste of ammo. So what I say should happen is that: 1. Zombies should no be able to see/hear people with little gear as much, this would help them avoid them throught stealth rather than being seen by one from through a wall. 2. Zombie hoards, this is apparently going to be added anyway, but these should go through busy places, cherno, stober, etc this would help bandits watch there back not sit up on the top of buildings all day sniping people because a huge amount of zombies may come, this will mean bandits will have to move if they see it reducing the kills. 3. Different types of zombies, zombies right near the coast should be walk only zombies, they can only really walk but when they see you make alot of noise attracting nearby zombies, this makes them easier to escape from but if they see you it makes it hard to loot = New spawns, less running forever down the road by 2 zombies, but hard to get geared if one sees you but at least you dont die as much. Normal zombies, the ones we have atm, mainly in towns and middle chernarus Military zombies which act more 'Military', they patrol around airbases mainly and sometimes around normal bases, this would make it hard for bandits to camp in the forests around airbases shooting people. 4. Zombies in buildings, zombies roam inside buildings so e.g you go through a flat and there might be a zombie walking around it which may sneak up on you. 5. Ability to distract zombies, throwing a stone or closing/barricading a door (one that is introduced) will mean zombies will try to break it down, noise from doing this will attrack more zombies but becasue they are trying to knock down the door they are less likely to see you go out another way as the noise from the smashing acts as a sort of zombie magnet made by zombies.

Same here. Haven't you found an SKS yet? I've found 4, try barns, barracks and hospitals

Well um I thought mine was bad, yours is only just as good as my previous computer (exactly same but without GPU) and well you might get away with all low in towns and countryside but cities... Nope... So you can play just stay away from most big loot locations

Well Im exploring the live a happy life up north and there are three places I think I could go, there is one place to the west of the airfield, has a hospital, a hidden lodge and a construction site, perfect for sniping bandits on there way to the airfield and getting some equipment, but no food. Or there is a trainstation north of gvozda with equipment, clothes and weapon spawns but once again not much food. Or there is svetlojarsk, more dangerous but as ability to live in woods, plenty of loot and can snipe bandits camping airfield and help out new spawns that spawn near there but once again more likely to die due to higher bandit presence. Soft drinks fill hunger right? If so the place west of airfield I may make my permanent-ish residence

That may sound like a good idea, but is there any military equipment spawns up there? (Not guns, just backpacks and gun attatchments) Because I probably want to get a better SKS scope, bayonet for the looks and a hunter backpack.

Yeah, but still not that common me thinks, I have only seen 3, meanwhile I also have seen 3 m4's 4 B95's 4 revovlers, 2 FNX's 1 shotgun as well during my current life

Yeah, it but the sounds could cost you your life, like today a guy came into a military base I was looting, I only knew he was there because of the sound of the gate, but at first I thought not to look because I always get that gate sound in bases

Well yes because I fear frikking losing all the stuff I spent 6 hours finding, especially when you turn around and theres some guy with an M4 sitting there and he could instantly take away everything you worked to get!

I didn't used to know why people KOS, now I know, first one today :( Jesus when you hear that guy open the gate and know someone else is in the barracks with you good I had a heart attack, saw him looking into another room, and I flash backed to the previous times where I got killed at a airbase and new he might do the same so I shot him all rounds into him with my SKS, he shot back but I must of hit his M4 and every shot missed then he dissapeared into the room and I presumed he was unconscious and I legged it as the zombies began to come in through the walls! Im shaking now, never had a game do this to me...

Yeah best bet for SKS is the 3 big coastal cities, military base and airfield

Honestly I think that airfields shoot have way more zombies at them, this way it would reduce how easy it is to go there and get stuff (although I never have gotten any of my gear at the airfield because of bandits killing me there). I also think that there should be mroe miltary bases or FOB's which are hidden in forests etc, these would not be visible on maps and they would not hold that much loot ( maybe 1-2 gun spawns and 1-2 equipment/clothe spawns) But becasue they are small, hidden and there are more than them than airfields it would offer an ability to get some miltary loot for those who play the game safe which usually aren't KOS noobs who run to the airbases and shoot everyone. Although personnally I have no problem with how much military loot there is as you can find it without going to an airfield and avoiding KOS noobs I think that the loot should be spread away from airfields and massive cities to reduce the amount of people going there and ending up shooting each other.

Yeah post your specs, I am able to run everything on medium to high at around 24+ fps in towns and countryside on a HD4670, intel G620 and 4gb of ddr3 ram. Although cities 'cough' Cherno only 'cough' drop it down to like 6-2 fps because of those god damn skyscrapers everywhere.
