Hell in my town alone, there is a barracks with guns + ammo, obviously people who own guns and even the local school has 5.56mm rifles! And in the villages around here there is a gun store with Saigas etc!

I hate the new zombies... I had 5 invisible ones randomly spawn, destroy my trousers and then dissapear WTF? Then I had another visible zombie hit me once causing me to bleed and ruining my hoodie! I wouldn't mind this if the server didn't lag, the zombies didn't randomly spawn in front of you and they didn't walk through and hit you through walls and floors. Yes it is alpha but why would you concentrate on adding more when they are buggy as hell, they should of concentrated on fixing them first or even better instead of working on respawning zombies, work on respawning loot to solve the server hopping issue as servers won't have to restart all the time!

We there are already clan servers, so join a clan as they kick everyone ese out their servers

Hmm I would still take an AKM, I'd much rather have a definite kill then a wound on a zombie, of course though in a war I would prefer the ak 74.

Only just adequete, if this was the cold war 5.56 would of been gone by now, only reason it is still here is because of the costs involved in switching ammo types. Also the 5.45 does make some nasty wounds, but it is less likely to kill as the whole going in is a lot smaller and overall the amount of damage it does is less, although it does tumble a lot making some nasty internal wounds but externally not so much, so say you shoot a abdomen: 7.62 = big hole in big hole out, pretty much straight through, if it was a skull it would blow a huge amount of bone off 5.45 = small hole in bigger hole out lower down, lots of mess inside, if you shot a skull it might just go straight through as it could lack the substance tumble enough

It has a 100 style receiver, no ribs on the top, also to use a folding stock on the AK-47 or even AKM would recquire making modifications to the receiver, so thats a lot of work. Also the AK-103 is in limited service " Russia: Used by various special police groups and spec ops groups. It is also in limited service with the Russian Army" Especially by more "spec ops" groups as they prefer the extra penetration. Also the flash hider can be a 3rd party modification, hence excess wear and slight differences to the normal one.

So I'm a mass murderer of poor people at electro today... I have just got 4 confirmed kills, 5 wounds and 8 shots which could of been wounds or kills, all of people who went onto the roof of electro hospital in the past 20mins... Literally it was a snipers dream, I just couldn't stop, and then the people I started shooting at began killing each other! 4 groups went onto that roof, at least 10 people, all but 1 survived I just don't know anymore, people just seem to want to die, it it was just a massacre, never seen so many in my life. I'm sorry the #fap# clan, Although I killed 1 of you, I also killed the 2 others who killed you guys too.

Well It would of been more exciting if the phantom sniper hunter had found me again (oh such a player has I have never feared so much as him!)

I was thinking to have gun shops, they would have quite a few guns, but into order to get in you have to have a key as the doors are heavily barricaded, so they would be hard to get into and require luck to get into.

It used to be part of the USSR, so it would be quite likely to have one back when it was part of one of the 2 superpowers in the world...

Uhh no... I don't know how so many get KOS'ted, seriously I kill people all the time (but not on sight, I like watching first ;) ) but if someone doesn't want to be KOS then go to a low pop server, don't go to electro or balota like retards and watch the hills!! I have only been kos myself once and that's because I went to cherno because I wanted to take risk, not being kos is so easy, and people who complain "oh KOS COD PLAYERS GTFO" must be playing like its COD themselves as everyone I have seen ingame I saw first, and everytime they are running upright like thy are proud to be running and wants everone to see them. Seriously I'm fed up with people complaining about KOS, its part of the game and if you get KOS repeatably then I'm sorry but l2 survive!

true dat And no to this thread... Don't like being sniped? Then don't go to where we do snipe! Some tips would be 1. Don't go on full servers (Duh) 2. Serpentine everywhere near the coast and 3. Don't have a weapon out or try to hide, put your weapon away and your fists up and double tap WW as they will save you more than shooting back, and don't hide as we will just wait until you come out.

How can you not be entertained!!! I mean that's what keeps me entertained while I have been doing it, it's also why waiting for hours on ends is worth it as it gives you that sense of power, that feeling where you watch your prey through your scope as they go around their business looting or talking to the others in their group, and then 'BAM' one of their mates has just been dropped dead or had his legs broke, first you get the joy of being able to hit someone at that range like nothing and then you also get the joy of stopping their mates from helping them as you shoot bullets at their feet when they try to give him morphine meaning they have to leave him for dead... And then comes the best part, as the poor guy trys to crawl away you watch him for a while seeing if he attracts more prey, after all as snipers in WW2 commonly did, if you injure someone you can be quite likely to get someone else who will come and help them, or in Dayz's case take their stuff which would mean more stuff to shoot at, but if no one can smell his blood then a second bullet would do him justice...

Yeah probably that, as it has a smooth upper receiver, so it would be a A-100 series as it also has the side rail and folding stock which you can't just put on a AKM normally. Also can you change the yellow font, it is quite bright atm

Shouldn't be, as even if there were they would just have too change the names. Shame why people don't want the Saiga-12 apart from the fact it would be the most suiting of all shotungs on that list .

I dont know what M4's you have been using but hell I hit a guy at 600m's with a M4 when I was sniping at electro, it seemed accurate enough for me.

Yeah after all UKB-76? Or anyway the most famous russian number station when it moved location, some urban explorers expored the site and it had a radio tower and under it was a large bunker about 10-20m deep and they found there a log of recording proving that was where it used to be, stuff like that would be awesome in Dayz.
