Hello everyone, I have a quick question. The last 2 wednesday (day that supposedly was the update day) I haven't got any updates to my stable version. Is something wrong with my client? or there actually hasn't been any updates? -
There are already clans into the game...I always get gangbanged by clans :( but they use the same tag and go on TS. I would love to see an ingame Clan System. Like: First Suggestion: In the main menu you get a "Clan" option greyed out until you create a Clan by finding a Notebook (which I also suggest) where you can both Write notes and "create a clan" and choosing that option would pop up a note-like screen where you must write the Clan name, country, tag, and motto. After that you can invite people by standing next to them and action-scroll the option "Invite to Clan". From the "Clan" option in the main menu, you can also invite people by writing the ingame name or Steam ID, you can manage the whole clan from there...selecting "Leutenants" which could invite or kick members like the leader, you could set a color for a little Icon that would appear above each clan member for other members to see in the game. Or even a "clan flag" I don't know...these are all just suggestions Second Suggestion: Gathering a serie of items to "craft" a clan insignia. Like...Note, Pen, Ammo and a Badge (which I also suggest) and after combining all those items in a certain order you could get a "Clan Insignia" which you can right click to select the "Manage" option where a little screen pops up letting you set a name, inviting players, kicking player, and all kind of options. - Clans would have a Morality-based reputation where you can see if that clan is a bandit, survivor or hero clan (MAYBE this could only be seen when invited/applying for the clan) - Clan members should wait a 24hrs period to join another clan after leaving the previous one and 12hrs when kicked out - This would allow to a more easier way to identify your friends when playing - Clans should not allow a high number of players. Maybe a maximum of 20 members (MAYBE!!!) - If you're the kind of people that will say "In real life you got no icon above their heads...you must remember their faces!" then I suggest you to fuck off...and a more complex character creation system like the one on The Elder Scroll V: Skyrim so you can create a really unique character and recognize your friends. (right now I always find someone looking EXACTLY like me) -If you have a better Idea for a Clan system, please share...This is all a quick explanation of what I was thinking and might not be the BEST idea out there

Nobody said anything about heels!!! in fact I've said several times...NO HEELS! that's stupid...but women boots! fuck...learn how to red please. I'm talking about realistic clothing here...I won't go around Chernogorsk on my panties with some high heels and a short t-shirt showing my belly!! there's no need to have Payday masks, cowboy hats or puffy jackets...so why are those in game? don't be such a retard and REALIZE what things can imporve gameplay...we need more individualization here...specially with clans/groups

I'm sure I read it somewhere on reddit That's fine, I'm all for that...but after you've been off for 2 weeks like this guy, you want to know where the fuck you left your survivor...not everyone have such a good memory

Most of us have played the mod, we've all been that guy with a cap, button shirt with a simple Kevlar Vest, pants, boots and a leg holster or the chick with the blue sweater and grey jeans with sneakers. I would love to see the VERY SAME clothing items in the game world. I love Role Play and I do it a lot, so the idea of finding an old-school survivor is pretty sweet what do you people think?

Here's another idea. Give us weapons, lots of weapons, give us ammo, lots of ammo...but make them spawn everywhere. Let us be able to find a empty magazine on the street, an M4 on a house, an ammo stack in the church. The trick is to give us weapon that uses the same kind of ammo Example: MP5 - Glock 19 - UZI FNX - M1911 M4 - M16 - G36 AK-47 - AKS .38 revolver - Glock 25 And so on...so most of the ammo you find won't work for your gun and you'll have to look everywhere for it. Being force to change your weapon if the situation demands it

I think knives should be more common. Not as a starting item like the shitty flashlight...but more common than axes at least. Even in the apocalypse, first thing I would grab would be my hunting knife. Small, easy to handle and carry...perfect defense item :P

This is an MMO, every item here have stats...currently the machete has a higher chance to bleed than the Firefighter Axe, the Hoodie has a better protection against bleeding than the raincoat and so on. Knives that are already in-game have different chances values just as any other weapon in the game

That's a huge mistakes if it were a survival SIMULATOR we wouldn't have the MMO elements and it would be like your Second Life. But I agree this is a Survival Horror without the horror completely implemented. Is closer to a MMO Resident Evil than a simulator of any kind. Arma 2 was a simulator and I understand they both use the same kind of engines if not the very same, so it's obviously some of the game's components are gonna be simulator oriented, but the game's core has been a Survival Horror since the mod's first day. They just chose Arma 2 to be the base game, that's all

I don't want sluts in the game, but sexy outfit wouldn't be bad right? I mean, men character are very fit and have a sexy undershirt and boxers...why can't we have our version of that?

I do. And I play a lot, I just wish women had a bigger aspect into the game, with proper feminine survival clothing and hairstyles and noises. The noises are currently the same as the male's noises -
I got lost once, on a forest near my town. I was 11 years old and I was stuck in that forest for 2 days. I had long dreadlocks and had to move a lot, because I was scared and trying to find a way out. There were some rabid dogs around...one of them ate half of a couple of dreadlocks, so after getting away I decided to tied them up due to be more practical that way. I'm a stylist, so I've seen quite a lot of different hairstyles. There's this dude who always cut his hair with me and he ask it short in case of a zombie outbreak lol What I wanna say is that in some extreme situation as zombies trying to feast on your flesh trhoughout the countryside, some people will tend to cut their hair in order to prevent a rabid creature get a grab on it, but there's also people like me that would just get it thightly tied up. So when ALL THE IMPORTANT THINGS ARE DONE it would be nice to see some variants on character's hair. Here are some ideas Female Cornrows Female Dreadlocks - The second image is the BEST in my opinion Female short Female side Jill's hair Male short tail Male Cornrows Male short Male simple - In cause you're wondering, no...you don't need any kind of special product for this one, you just brush your hair with your hand and you're done I MUST add that they have to be kinda short/practical hairstyles, this would not work (in my opinion) specially because of the modeling...maybe this one would, looks like he's benn in the wild lol

Great work being a proper DayZ player, hope to see more players like this as the game evolves :) word. KoSers are the worst thing in the game, worse than bugs and ladder kills! Bandity sucks and is horrible when I get robbed and killed for my supplies, but bandits are fine. They kill you with a purpose and most of the time they actually come close and talk to you and only rob you and let you go KoSers kill by the mere fact that YOU ARE ON SIGHT!
