Log out and log back in. :) That would be the lame way out... just wiggle and let us know how it turns out!

A small list of interesting things. You can now chop trees down. For firewood.You can also chop bushes down. For kindling or sticks or something.And make camp fires.And kill/eat animals (finally).And fish. Good luck finding fishing hooks.And make backpacks from animal hides.Grenades exist. They go boom.The game crashes every time you attempt to switch servers (or if a server reboots and you try to log into a new one).

You sure it's your card/drivers? There's multiple issues with crashing currently, although most of them happen when logging in/out of servers. You should definitely follow the instructions and log your crashing data in case it's not one of the known issues and it might help others.

I'm disappointed Dean didn't talk about riding animals. I should be able to mount and ride a cow. Or a zed. I should be able to ride a zed. Mostly because something like a horse would be too lame. I just wouldn't want my supply of cow legs and utters globally restricted. Server hopping for the lost utter would be silly.

Now they just need to fix the various material file, etc pop-ups that warn you when people are approaching. The motohelmet one that they finally fixed around a month ago was one of the reasons that I stopped wearing the motorcycle helmet... I didn't want to alert others that I was coming or that someone could be nearby. So by this right a poor man's UAV is still present.

I still run into this. Please Wait can last over a minute, or more sometimes. I watch in Task Manager and DayZ is sitting there spinning 50% CPU on my i5 doing god knows what for the whole time.

I heard my first grenade today. Some guy seemed to have dozens of them and kept setting them off. I'm assuming it was an item duper(s) because when I hit P and watched the players there were a few guys who seemed to keep popping in and out of the server over and over again.

Only criticism I have is the guy who laid down - that was a judgement call. But then again, you can't expect to find friends or mercy at the airfields. If you'd let him live he may have come back to you or you might have wasted time and then the other 2 guys might have stumbled upon you and it could have gone very differently. Thinking about it that way you probably did all the right things FTW!

If a bambi approaches me there's typically one reason - they're going to try to knock me out and take my gear. I've been sucker punched or a victim of an attempted knock out too many times. Proper bambi protocol is to wave from afar and allow someone armed to approach or simply keep running - because running towards me head on I'm going to assume you're looking for a quick opportunity to knock someone out and re-gear.

When you have a weapon on back and one in hands, if you do anything else with your hands such as taking food/drink into them to eat/drink you drop the weapon in hands. You have to remember to pick your weapon back up. The caveat here is that when you drop something there's a bug where it might rubber band back somewhere you were recently. This happens to me a lot when I'm attempting to move to a bigger backpack - I sometimes have to go searching back along where I last walked to find my backpack. You'll have to do the same to look for your gun. Keep in mind there's also the bug where sometimes when you drop things they fall through the world or through floors of buildings. In short, the way it's implemented today, if you've going to carry a long gun on back and one in hands, keep the one you're more fond of on your back because the one in hands can easily get lost due to a myriad of bugs.

Not only does it crash on me when I log out OR switch servers, but I had just made the trek to the NWAF and it crashed as I was climbing the control tower. I log back in and I'm a fresh spawn. Glorious. I don't plan to make that trek again any time soon.

It took me 5 shots from 50m or less on a Zed to kill it last night. Yeah, the guns can be... inaccurate at times. That was the worst I'd seen. Sometimes I know I completely missed and I drop my target. Until they fix it pray and spray is as good as anything.

Everything south of Berezino seems like a complete wasteland lately (noone's there). A few weeks ago I used to at least run into a few people just south of Berezino, but lately I see noone. I don't die a ton so I can't tell, but in general have the spawn points been pushed further north yet again?
