I was unconscious once for about 20 minutes and finally gave up and respawned. What's the upper limits on being unconscious? That occasion was pretty ridiculous, and it's happened to me nearly that bad once before but I chose to respawn early rather than attempt to wait it out.

Zeds are spraying everything with disinfectant spray to preserve it all when we're not looking.

Does anyone know if dropping loot in the 3 car garage causes the loot to be lost forever because it seems to fall through the floor? That one really got me a couple of times. I lost a mosin with LRS a few weeks back while trying to balance my inventory. That 3 car garage one was the worst because the loot wouldn't show up somewhere else outside of it like has happened in some houses/apts and hitting tab and looking for it using the inventory wouldn't allow you to find it either. I need to retry that, maybe that's changed since .51. -

I stumbled upon this gem today. I recall a while back about something geared towards female players and I think I'd linked a pink AK or something, but this takes it to anther level - and it's real AND already in game! I wonder how rare this is... anyone else seen it? I can't wait to blow someone away with this! -

I like to live out my fantasy of being like that guy who ran a marathon every day for 100 days or so. ... my biggest pet peeve is the hill walking, on steep hills its sorta beyond silly slow.

Yeah - what I'd read is that starting with .50 persistence is now the default option. I thought I saw a few posts where this caused confusion for private servers where they didn't want persistence and didn't realize that was the new default option. I think most people liked and were excited about persistence until the two issues about heli crashes and loot all spawning in one place in many towns has made persistence less desirable, at least in the short term until those options are fixed.

Helicopter crashes are the places to get M4's and stuff these days. They're impossible to find though because on stable servers are now persistent by default and heli crashes aren't working on persistent servers on stable. Apparently. If I've got any of this wrong someone correct me rather than allowing me to spew false information.

OH - also try splinting yourself. You can also just commit suicide and put your toon out of it's misery. Remove all of your gear first and stash it somewhere so you can get it back. Maybe you can eat your corpse when you get back. Ewww.

There could be someone with a broken leg rolling around. This is what happened to me once - the noises were nonsensical due to how far away they were and the direction but I did end up finding them ... on a roof after having broken their leg. I patched them up and moved on. If you're somewhere high it could be random sounds broadcasting from somewhere else entirely (where someone is crying on their mic or has a broken leg). Or maybe there's some survivor crouching under some tree crying like a little beeyotch in fear of you? Is it possible to turn a walkie talkie on and leave it somewhere and make wierd noises on the same channel from another walkie talkie?

Fireplaces are like anything else - sometimes you need to interact with them, remove them, add things to them, etc in order to get gear that seems to obey quantum physics to become re-entangled with the game and pop back into existence. I can't wait until that's all fixed, but until then it's like the drunken exercise of trying to find your house keys after you've dropped them in the grass. They're there, somewhere, and can be found, you just have to fumble around a bunch and try not to fall over and lose more in the process. Hilarious read by the way... excellently illustrated.

The greater Elektro area and NWAF are your best bets. Berezino has emptied out somewhat since they nerfed NEAF to high heaven and also redistributed the spawns again so everyone isn't spawning up north to test the new cities out. Also check your filters - if they're still set at 40 max up them to 50 because the Stable server limit has also increased, that might cause you to miss some heavily populated servers.
