I have about 900 hours - and I've seen plenty with various capabilities. I don't think we're supposed to say what their capabilities are, but I think it's safe to acknowledge that they exist. I avoid Elektro, Berezino, and all areas near them on high pop 3rd person USA servers - if you go looking, you're likely to find them. Although I was super impressed on twitch about a week ago watching Anthony Kongphan take out a teleporter about 5x in a row behind Elektro. It was beyond impressive... and another sign of how gimp hackers truly are. Teleporters are ubiquitous, any player who hasn't seen at least one is either lying or a low pop server hopper. -
Something to at least check even if it doesn't help - do you have the latest Nvidia drivers installed?

Cliff notes summary = "I like the lowest risk encounters and I'd rather not interact with my fellow survivors" -
I die more often than not because I get too trusting. However, I NEVER EVER trust bambis. There's a reason that dude's naked - it's more likely because they were death matching and getting into trouble than died from zeds, banditry, or KOS. Or to put it another way, bambis probably just lost everything because they're the type of survivor you don't want to be around and they have nothing to lose. Never trust a bambi. You don't need to KOS them, but any bambi that looks rabid or suspicious should be suppressed.

I don't hate the game. In fact, it's the only game I'll watch on Twitch when I'm not playing because it's so amusing and unpredictable... like a good action adventure movie. The game itself is great because it's changing every week. I've got I think nearly 900 hours in now and I can say I've gotten more than my money's worth. I'm not bored yet. -

My goals: Have fun. Survive. Handcuff someone. Build a fire under them. Watch them burn to death. If it's ever implemented for zombies, same as #3 but with zombies. Find a chainsaw and deforest an entire town or mountain or something. Pray the devs implement dismemberment so I can rip someone's arms off and beat them to death with it. Then maybe eat them. Pray the devs implement dismemberment so I can rip someone's arms off and force feed it to them. Avoid hackers. Find a sword and a grenade and then find a rabbit and reenact the holy hand grenade scene.

I feel like this needs a bump, but not just to be annoying and bump - but I think running through the holidays here both the dev team AND the community teams (Reddit & Forums) deserve some thanks and general holiday wishes. Rather than create a separate thread I figured it might make sense to pass that along here. Thankless jobs quite often, and wading through sesspools of negativity quite often thanks for keeping things in order and chipper. There's a lot to be thankful for.

Does it work in the middle of the road or in buildings? I like blocking off roads by falling trees in them... would be hilarious to block roads by farming over them. Question - what happens to a farm plot like that over time? Does it stay forever with persistence or does it just disappear after a while?

Oh, great, a weirdo who's actually spreading positive vibes. Between you and the guy who was handing out free food from his camp fire in the middle of the town (and then got shot in the back of the head) we're setting a trend in a different direction... ... and I like and fully support it! Ditto what wingman.edu said. Hopefully the Dev team will get some much needed time off for the holidays. Also thanks to the guys who worked through the night during the DDOS attack the other day. I saw Hicks's twitter updates and pics about the sun rising the next day while he was still in the office on that.
