Apparently the new renderer might show it's head soon. There's been a bunch of excitement about that. V3S trucks are around and make for something interesting (when they're not glitching under the world). It's like Cap'n says, a fun buggy mess (which is ok, it's still early access alpha), it's keeping my interest at 1000+ hours still. Progress is being made and interesting things keep popping up every Wednesday.

I can never find the mags for these. I think I've found one ever... isn't it the case the 22 mags only spawn in military locations? I always found it funny that it's so split up, it's a civilian gun, but the mags are only in military locations, yet the gun is never in military locations. Weirdness.

There's a few ways: Get lucky with spawns. Get lucky finding a well geared corpse. Survive for a long time and run a long way. There's a few jails, military barracks, etc you can hit traveling from Cherno apts up on the hill -> Balota -> military base -> NWAF and then back again. I've done this a few times but I've found it's a lot of running to loot whore and lose easily. Server hop (lame). Get lucky (or be skilled like Anthony Kongphan) and kill a few fairly geared people.

No no... don't do that. Server hopping is gimp. N00b. Lame. Pleeb. Bambi play.

Well, let's non-scientifically weight how likely you are to run into someone at each of those cities... all of those coastal towns I'd give a 5-10x more likelihood of someone hitting due to the PVP zerg fest going on between Elektro and Cherno (especially Elektro). Anyone who gets a spawn nearby there will hit those tiny coastal towns first before heading back into the PVP fray. I really don't think the average joe would spend the time to head inland first. Those towns I rarely see anyone, even on 35+ pop servers, I almost consider them safe.

The quantum superposition of a V3S may flip causing an anti-V3S to exist which is equal and opposite. Science is still working on a way to create anti-V3S in large quantities because it's potential is game changing and may lead to more vehicular options in the future. For great science! I know that the ballistic helmet and *maybe* that flight/jet helmet help against headshots, I was always under the impression that the rest didn't help much. I'm also curious if my understanding on this is accurate, and I'm also curious about which actually help in fist fights... the old rule of thumb was that moto helmets prevented against fist knock out but now with the other new things (bike helmet, work helmet, welding mask, etc) which actually help against headshots and which actually help against fist knock out.

Fat survivors with poor calcium in their diets. There's not a single item that BI has put into the game that seems like it's a reasonable source of calcium. All you guys are overfed on crap such as beans, bacon, cereal, and human butt meat. That powdered milk could save your life!

That's not really a "Bandit Challenge", that's a murder spree challenge. A bandit challenge would be something like: Bandit Challenge Over the next week track points for the following activities, post your score back when done. +10 pts each time you handcuff someone (unwilling) +5 pts if you put a burlap sack over their head +1 pts for each food/drink forced fed to them +5 pts for force feeding disinfectant spray +5 pts for force feeding them human meat +20 if they get that crazy disease and start crying +3 points for running off and leaving them handcuffed +10 points for holding someone up + 5 points for breaking their legs +1 point for each item taken from them +5 points for leaving them naked +2 points if you only steal their shoes +10 points for each random person who's legs you break and leave crawling around +20 points if there's no town in sight I dunno, something like this. I'd have to take more time to sort it out as what I wrote is a bit of a mess.

Wasn't sure the best place to put this so I thought under servers might make sense. I reported 1 instance of a server admin kicking people upon joining on the public hive maybe 2-3 weeks ago. Today, Fragnet's ticket system mass spammed me as if their system got hacked somehow. Anyone else ever open a ticket with Fragnet and experience this? This is nuts!

You should use your mic and make friends. When you find someone with gear you like, kill them and it's all yours!

The 3-4 times I've messaged him he's responded. Actually all mentioned and even accolyte have responded to everything I've ever sent them. All seem pretty responsive.

You should report this to boneboys or some other mod.

This one gets me a lot. There's other weird tricks that help - such as if you drop a gun (or any item) and it disappears, try dropping something else, such as a bandage, or picking up something else nearby. It's like quantum mechanics, crap just pops in and out of existence randomly. Sometimes you get that random gun or the coke can atop the TV/table that's floating in a superposition state, if you actually manage to open it you'll find schrodinger's dead cat.

You can also report to one of the mods such as boneboys who can assist further. If it's known it may be a waste of effort to file a duplicate in the feedback tracker (instead you can vote it up in the feedback tracker). My experience is even if it's a duplicate they don't mind, they link them together, if it's a hack/duplicate type they'll hide it and make it private, and life moves on. So my advice is both log it and also report to one of the mods as suggested.

I've been playing lone wolf for over a year... and I've not gotten bored. It's been fun watching the progression, new features / items / fixes coming nearly every Wednesday, a whole lot of deaths, many great adventures to the far reaches of the map, maybe an revenge murder on someone who didn't deserve it out of frustration, and a lot of time spent paranoid that someone is watching me (for good reason). I don't think clans make up even a quarter of the player base...
