Ponder (DayZ)

Hey guys, I recently checked out a 1st person server as my buddy I play with and I like the idea of having more realistic vision for all. My question is how do you fix the occasional bug where your character will only want to "walk" instead of being able to use Shift or double tap Shift to switch to "run" mode. You can still sprint but there is no in-between. I fix this bug currently by switching perspective. Is there another way to get around this bug when it happens since you're locked into 1st person view mode on a 1PP server?

Sorry if I'm unaware of something as I'm very new to the game, but seems like the stable servers just went down? I can only see the experimental ones

Yes, it's incredibly refreshing as the trend with all new games is to cater to the masses and make the big bucks. This game actually feels worth putting time into.

I'm realllly loving DayZ Standalone especially because it's already so enjoyable in ALPHA. What 3 places based on watching us enter the building could he have possibly shot me from? just curious Edit: BTW I don't expect people to listen through the part where I'm dead, but if you do you can hear my buddy reacting to what's happening and explaining it.

Agreed which is exactly why I had to post this right after it happened... I understand it's alpha so I want to help give as much info as possible to help fix it. Even though this vid isn't much as I died to the cheater first, it's important to catch all of this now while it's still very early in development
