Bought the game. Buggy but fun. Servers are crappy...sometimes takes half a dozen tries to find a decent server without lag.. but I accept it as part of the dev process. I hear rumors about measures to prevent server hopping and I'm all for it. I've been KoS'd more times than I can count and most of the time I don't even see who killed me...just hear "pew" then read "you are dead". It sucked...but at least I got to PLAY. But now? LOL. I spent 20 minutes playing today...and no joke...AN HOUR AND A HALF staring at the "wait" screen. My crime? Getting repeatedly booted and/or yellow to red lag spikes that last for days. And it's not on my end...been playing WoW and GW2 while I've been stuck on the "wait screen of death". Both run fine with green latency. I don't know who prioritizes your workload...but whoever put "appease the carebears" over "fix the servers" needs to wear the cone of shame. Don't get me wrong. I KNOW server hopping for gear is an exploit and it needs to be fixed... But for the love of gawd...fix that AFTER you fix the server stability issues. And it's not just me...every server I log onto has a wall of red text saying "so and so" is booted for connection problems. I counted at least 50 people who got booted and that was only in the 20 minutes or so that I actually managed to log into a server. Just my 2 cans o' tuna.

Meh...got another string of bad loggins again...I'm done...$30 PoS game...Elder scrolls comes out soon and this will all be moot. Thanks again Skyline for being fair.

yeah but then I repeated ad nauseam in 15 different posts...that it was an hour and a half broken up into 15 minute burst...log on...log out...stare at the screen... like I said before...you didn't read. I think they wanna funnel people to the same place to incite violence...or at least give the already violent the means to be violent. But I agree...at least make a few random items appear throughout the world. Can I get ANY backyard-shed-loot-love?

I VERY CLEARLY SAID I log on and get booted after 15 minutes or get bad lag so I can't even draw my weapon. So I relog. And that was fine and fixed the problem but now I get punished for relogging I never said I couldn't log on for 90 minutes. I am not here just to gripe. I thought you were sincere but now I see you are either drunk, incompetent, or nuts. Please move along to another thread thank you.

No one else is having that issue! Or so people keep telling me. No massive booting of players off random servers. No ridiculous lag spikes! It's all in you head!

In before...there is nothing wrong with the game, ALPHA, you whine a lot, no one else is having that issue etc. Hang in there dude...not much help for people with problems here.

What conspiracy...it's common business practices. I worked for blizzard support back in the 90's and this stuff was in their printed manual. Obviously not in those words...but same result... Deny and deflect to buy time while they fix it. Also...for the 50th time...there is no huge connection issue...just laggy servers. But a 5 minute delay added to relogging makes a minor issue into a pain in the ass. Now for the love of gawd take 5 seconds to see if maybe I have a point instead of using every single one of your brain cells to tell me I'm wrong and maybe just maybe you'll see what I mean.

Again, I've been playing MMO's since dialup...this is not new...step one deny there's a problem and funnel/lock all complaints but leave one or two so people can't say you're silencing anyone. Plus there's the banning of the 90% of the complaints that ask for refunds and or swear and cuss etc. That way any potential clients reading up on the forums to see what players are actually saying about the game before you buy it don't see the bad stuff. Meanwhile the devs take care of the problem and never have to admit there was a problem in the first place. Or haven't you noticed that every company uses phrases like "I'm sorry you are having difficulties" they will NEVER say "sorry we effed up". One of the threads that got locked this morning was mine with over 20 replies....none by me. That's why this is a brand new account. Anyway...just thought I would do my part to get the word out...maybe some kid ready to spend 30 bucks has second thoughts before parting with his leaf raking money. See...some people...like kids in my neighborhood...actually work for their money and don't just scan a credit card. So while all the cute folks with 300+ posts get to sit here all day chatting...some people got be outside working (cept when its 30F outside thank gawd) And then they spend it on a game that doesn't work. So I did my part to prevent anyone else from getting a bad deal..

Dozens of posts this morning when I first checked the forums at 6AM central time. Dozens. And if they're fixing it cool...you might have shared that 4 pages ago. Edit in the meantime I've logged in and out of every game I own that goes online...from WoW to Diablo, GW2, Star Wars, Rift, yeah I like MMO"s ALL run fine. 'Cept this one. And again...not huge issues...when I can freely log in and out to find a stable server without adding 5 minutes per shot.

OHMUHGAWD...are you...actually...beginning...to...possibly...in a roundabout way without actually doing it....are you agreeing with me? wow...4 pages of people being typical forum twats because I said "carebear" and finally on page five we begin to talk about getting the servers running smooth before adding a tool that makes logging in and out even harder. I don't think you understand the meaning of irony. Talking about a problem in general discussion as opposed to troubleshooting would not really be considered irony. Irony would be if by talking about the problem in general discussion instead of troubleshooting...and thereby made my problem worse...that would be ironic. Also...I get that you think I'm in the wrong forum...but unfortunately what you think and what actually is...are not the same.
