    Bandit Skin or something like that

    I would like some kind of indication that the guy I'm asking if friendly from a distance had some kind of visual hint that he was/is a bandit, the old system was kind of silly, in that you couldn't defend yourself without getting it. Maybe they could have a script that runs if you got shot at first, or if you shoot someone that was aiming at you, it's already got a way point indicator (10m from you is Periwinkle, he's a survivor "hey") could use that to maybe say "OH you killed that guy cause he took a shot at you, I get it, s'ok you can go no bandit stuff. bye brah." maybe your guy can react while near them, like if the guy's a survivor with a good humanity, your guy calms down faster, if he's a bandit your guy starts to panic or shake cause he's nervous.
  2. Well for starters, I love the mod. Though it seems to teach the lesson "kill innocence out of everyone." but I've got a few suggestions for this survival game. First, More... Zombies in towns.. I have to say right now the zombie situation for a small island is "controllable" and by that I mean it's more like an isolated incident and not an outbreak. When you're able to snipe from a rooftop in Chernogorsk and have no repercussions, I find that silly, it's a city. Cherno even if it's smallest should have a thousand? two thousand? something that makes firing a gun unreasonable in that sort of area, less it's absolutely needed. Now it works both ways though, smoke grenade or a flare? chuck it at a player and watch the zombies pile on the player, then loot it later. but to have it such a small amount that you could clear it and walk around freely kind of makes it "easy". Second, Herds? Random roaming zombies, walking highways, in giant lines with each other? making traveling woods actually dangerous... Speaking of which, where are the dangerous wildlife? how bout some zombie dogs? or even regular snakes, wolves, bears. (zombie bears? :D) if we're gonna make this place hell, we should go all the way with it, zombie birds, infected livestock. Zombie birds that peck you while your hiding away on rooftops. Could keep wildlife away easy by setting up fires. Another one, fishing It's a tedious chore fishing, making it suicidal but rewarding, fishing in a lake while a zombie is nearby. Also making yourself overly exposed to bandits. who might want to steal your fishing net or whatever you have. Probably last, less I can think of anything else. UAVs, I'm not talking the big ones, UAVs are child's playthings nowadays. get a toy helicopter with a iPhone attached to it and you're set. but they do have those throw and go planes, that virtually stay up forever. Of course these should be insanely rare (like anything worth getting) but for bandit teams or survivor teams, you could actually provide support. (or offensive tactics). Balancing itself out by making you exposed.
