    DayZ Commune

    Currently under development at Quad Bore Studios is our first mod for ArmA 2, DayZ Commune, the basis behind the name is that it focuses on the community aspect of DayZ by including things like farming, which encourages building a community to protect your hard earned crops from zeds and bandits alike, this is not the only major feature however, more is being planned as you read this and more info is set to come in Q1 of 2014, with a launch date around mid-Q2, happy zed and bandit hunting alike!     For anyone who has been following or just got here, I have been considering porting the mod from scratch to ArmA 3, however I need input, what does everyone think of that?

I believe this would help the group in it's times of need. I have played several DayZ mods and probably 100's of ArmA mods in general, I am even currently working on my own DayZ mod called DayZ Commune, Commune Website.
  4. Hello and thank you for taking your time to read the following message. I am looking into making a DayZ modification based of the DayZ mod, I have a basic story-line and plans for content layed out, however I need some resources to help me get started, like how to mod the actual DayZ Mod. I am also looking for team members to help me with my endeavor. I am fairly adept at making missions with basic SQF scripting, which to my knowledge can be used in mods. Note I have used the search function for this topic and the one that came up did not help me at all, so please don't just write posts about such things.   5. Dev team now needed, especially texturers/modelers, we have figured out the basics of how to go about making the mod
  6. If you are saying that because of the files on GitHub, that is only there because that is what I am working on at the moment, I even put in the change log that I was working on config system, if you looked at everything there you would have found that ;)
  7. Its not a missions, it is a mod, it will add new content and edit old, that is not a mission.
