i use a controller and play on my tv, i don't ever have to touch my keyboard, every single action is mapped to my controller, no functionality would have to be lost at all.

Well the controls are easy to map to a Controller I've already done it lol, and skyrim used kinect 1 amazingly so dayz should have no problem using kinect 2. Nba and Madden already use the kinect 2 with fantastic results, so it shouldn't be a problem.

most of the videos you see uploaded for this game are arranged to look like chance encounters, but are pretty scripted out to maximize views. -
i mean they aren't going to make the game look any better on the ps4 then it does on PC, and the Xbox one is easily capable of running the graphics of Dayz (considering this would be one of the worst looking games on a next gen system) As far as controls go i already play with a 360 controller and have every command mapped to it, so not sure why the DS4 would be a better option. Kinect could be great for a lot of reasons in Dayz, contextual leaning, voice commands for your inventory (just like skyrim had which was amazing) luring zombies by voice (like deadrising had in it)

But the akm is way better mid to close range and if you tap the trigger with a pso scope it's amazing at range.

Speaking of controls, I use a 360 controller for dayz on pc and it works great for the game, so there should be no problem doing the controls on consoles. I use a controller and play it on my TV, never have to touch the keyboard or mouse.

I dunno, to me the AKM is, it's deadly up close and deadly at range with a scope.

dude i play CS: GO all the time on my PC with a controller and absolutely clean up. I don't have any idea what you are talking about, on dayz if people start shooting at me i get them first more often then not and that is also with a controller. I also do great on games like Unreal and Battlefield with a controller on PC, so where are you getting your information from?

if that is true why do i win so many shootouts? not only on here i also do extremely well on Counter Strike with a controller.

i don't really see how that makes any sense, i play my pc all the time and a good chunk of the time i am playing on my TV while using a 360 controller, only games i see that are really made for pc are RTS games, and even some of those work well on console (halo wars)

i use a xbox 360 controller and can do EVERYTHING that you can do with mouse and keyboard, so i don't see the issue or any need for controls needing to be changed a bit for consoles.

i already play it with a controller anyways and can do everything i could do with a keyboard, so it shouldn't be very difficult.

i have been playing this game a lot, and being sniped is definitly the rarest of my deaths, anybody shooting from a good distance usually misses the first shot (the easiest) and then continues firing away while i zig zag around until they have to reload (giving plenty of time to get away) anybody dieing on the regular from snipers are getting shot at a really close range and doing something really wrong.

he probably didn't have any gear because he was a fresh spawn, and he could have been rushing off to his old body or to meet a friend.

when me and my friends play we all crash together at the exact same times, it's a very werid problem.

why are you acting like he was a new player? he could easily have over 300 hours clocked in on this game.....

i live out in the country aka "the woods", and when we were younger we'd go out at night and play hide and seek and whatever, and we could always see just fine, no artificial light around, it takes a special kind of night to be dayz dark lol, to me a typical moonlit night should be closer alan wake, a little bit darker would be fine, but somewhere around how alan wake is. -

nudity being discussed..... if i really have to watch twenty 12 year olds who have decided to strip there character and run around naked, i would really like my money back. At this point it's stupid enough people are doing it by taking there pants off and just running through don't make it worse, even better make pants something that can't be taken off only interchanged. -

yeah i have the same problem, not getting anywhere near the FPS i was getting before the last couple patches, hopefully they will be able to get the performance back up to par again. -
How do you play music in the game while maintaining good quality audio?

Did you really put in heart attacks?

I know I have ran in a 26 mile marathon along with a bunch of 10k marathons, no matter how hard I have pushed in those no heart attack happened, and in this game I haven't run non stop anything close to that distance, and am in houses left and right getting food and water. So it should have to be a pretty extreme cause for one, maybe extreme blood loss or something. -

the fact that people have to worry about blending in so much from other people on this game just makes my head hurt. Why aren't we all trying to survive the zombie apocalypse and helping each other? I guess the next zombie movie should just show everybody running around and shooting each other as they dodge zombies.

i agree, but my buddy fell off some stairs the other day and broke his leg, he used his morphine and epi pen and still couldn't walk, used my splint on him and he was fine, so atleast for a while i don't trust them as much as i do a splint.
