Is anyone else suffering constant disconnects today? It is pointless trying to play. I keep gettgin so far down the road, only to be disconnected and then I have to start again in the same place. I am sick of trying to reach a town in this game, Yes alright - alpha blah alpha blah. But it would be nice to actually get far enough to find something to do, or meet someone to actually kill me lol. So far, it's just jog, avoid a zombie, jog, search a house & find nothing, repeat, repeat, repeat, jog, find a baseball cap and a fire extinguisher, die of starvation or disconnect, respawn back in the original middle of nowhere and do it all again, jog, etc. Will look again in a couple of months.

Same here. I type text into the box, but no one ever responds, and I NEVER see anyone else type anything. What is going on? Surely it should work. I press forward slash and type. If ANYONE can please tell us why it isn't working it would be appreciated.

That's all very well but will someone please tell a nooob how the hell to get the comms working, either text or speech? I have NEVER heard or seen any chat, so I have not been able to say 'friendly', 'I come in peace', or 'die, you noob robbing turd'. I use the slash key, type text, no one responds. I plug in my headset, press direct com, nothing happens, at least as far as I can tell. So I wander silently, collect some stuff, get bored, then get killed. So far, the game has not given me any reason to like it but I keep running and searching.
