This is actually good, hackers popping out on alpha, better in alpha than in beta... Gives the devs plenty of time to make the game hack proof... Anti hacking progs is and will always be a reaction... Even the toughest security progs will be hacked... Its only a question of time. Even the current precautions were learned from previous hacks

I was playing hardcore last weekend, i was a fresh spawn running to elektro, so ofcourse i went to check sniper hill first, there, a guy with a mosin got the drop on me, he immediately told me to drop all my drinks(stupid right? Fresh spawn with no b-pack). I told him to wait, while i dropped my "canteens" all the while im trying to get closer, when i was spitting distance of him, i guessed he used his head and ordered me to crouch, i figured i was dead, then boom, some guy shot the bandit with a double barrel shotgun, then this guy fully camoed with an m4 on his back and a sawn off double barrel told me to step back from the body, i immediately did, i told him i was friendly and he remains quite, i told him i was leaving, at which time he spoke, "i dropped a pistol and some rounds for you", i then proceeded to pick up the magnum, took my eye off him for a sec, sorted my inventory, but then realized he was gone... Like a virtual batman.... Moral of the story? Theres non, its just dayz :)

I was in a jail cell about to leave when i heard Z,s aggro outside, funny thing was, no Z was coming after me, so i figured someone was axing them outside, i was already downstairs and infront of the door, so instead of running up and making a sound, i just crouched right in front of the door, i figured whoever was coming in wouldnt expect me to be there besides, to my surprise something went through the door i thought it was a player so i immediately sprayed... Apparently it was just a Z and most of my shots ricocheted off the door and hit me... Luckily i didnt die or fell unconscious, ruined my gear and a broken leg but still, it was a funny way to try out the ricochet

There should be two animations when opening doors... One animation should be a quick one where you just throw open the doors, may be theres a penalty, like the doors making a loud ass sound... Then the second one is when you have your fist raised, where the door will open slow and half way, where you can peak into the room, may be even possibly shoot into the room, but the penalty is your toon cannot move from the door, he is attached holding the door, downfall is someone can shoot him through the door

I dont know if this was a glitch or something... But ive had zombies follow me up the 2nd floor of jail cell bldgs, piano house, green house, and 2nd floor of the school building... This only started happening last patch tho. Imagine my surprise when this first happened, i was a fresh spawn bleeding and 4 usain bolt like zombies after me, i went up the 2nd floor of the piano house for salvation, i turn around as im bandaging and two of them are on the same floor as me... It was a real "oh sh*t moment"

My longest was 835 meters, i set my range to 800 and fired... He was going down a ladder(the one you press f to get up on) at a firehouse... First one missed him, he ran to the ladder and i shot again, i hit him, then he fell... I dont know if he was dead because of my shot or he died coz he did an animation of getting hit and fell... But either way, i consider it a kill shot hahahahaha

Three of us were at balota, we saw a group enter the jail cell closest to the hangars, so 2 of us took position in the atc, while one over watched in the apartments, as soon as our over watch gets a clear shot on one of the guys, he starts shooting at him, he tells us he is hitting him but he isnt dying, so we just thought he was missing, the group then circled back to the barracks, while they were moving, we take pot shots at them from the atc, so a lot of aggro zombies below, they got cover from behind the barracks so we waited for them to try and cross the airfield, our over watch scanning the wall by the tents... Im watching the door on the atc, im on the stairs, while my buddy was at the top atc, less than two minutes from when they disappeared from the barracks, one of the guys we were following just appears in the middle of the airstrip, then one appears on my door, i immediately shoot this guy with an sks to the head but nothing happened, then i just died... My friend then goes down from the top, sees the guy on top of me and unloads his m4.... Nothing happens... Guy shoots once with an m4 and my friend is dead... We were both fully healthy, wearing pristine everything, and i even had protector cases in my shirt and vest... Next day... We re geared and came back to balota... We were in the atc again, this time i was behind a solid wall, crouched, and i was not in line of sight of any windows, i was guarding the door via 3pp, my body was not visible from the outside... And no, i was not glitching out of the wall, my backpack was not seen... I was on the the stairs, second stairs after the mid floor in line of sight of the door, a guy on the dirt road past the jail cell( close to the shed looking thing before the houses) shoots me through the wall, there was no sound, i thought it was an invisible zombie, my screen went gray, i broke my legs, then unconscious, then dead... My friend on top of the atc tried to check on me, he then gets shot, goes unconscious, he wakes up, bandages, and goes up the atc... Prone.... Gets shot from there too... My friend only saw him from his recording... He had an m4, from his position, he wouldnt have had a shot on my or my friend... And he wouldnt have been able to put down a healthy geared player that quickly from 150+ meters... He couldnt have killed a guy on top of the atc from there, no one was at sniper hill or the apartments coz we had an over watch there... Lets say he was an amazing shot, but he couldnt put people down that fast at those distances with an mp m4 with acog...

Hehehe forest that grow grass and trees are usually damp... They wont burn that easily... Unless you put gas on them.... But then again, it will not spread to a whole forest... I suddenly remember when there would be huge explosions in the mod and would kill everyone in a city then youd see this 2d like fire.... Hahaha it was weird...

Will MP parts make that accurate too? XD

Out in the woods, i dont know if its just me but, ive recently encountered Z's that can go up to the second floor of the 2 storey houses, first time it happened,it freaked me out, i didnt know wether to axe it or shoot it. I dont like logging out in buildings or houses, ive killed too many people like that. XD

Arma/SA combat is positioning, you cant run in a town and quickscope... You just have to understand the basics, crouched beats standing, prone beats crouched, cover beats open, hidden beats cover... But ninja beats them all XD

Actually it tumbles after penetration... If it tumbles in flight, you wont be able to hit a barn with it :) but very well put... That is exactly why the ak47 caliber is different than the new aks

It will minimize server hopping, once you have your stash... Youll always circle to it... As well as kos, people wouldnt just shoot you on sight, they stalk you till you lead them to your stash... Persistent storage will lessen pvp, it will however start people hoarding items

That depends, if you are wearing a vest and the caliber of bullet... Its about "adrenaline", if your in a situation, afraid for your life, you get hit, your immediate reaction is to shoot back, sometimes you dont even know you were hit until after, you dont even feel the pain only the blood... Its another story if your on the toilet reading the morning news paper and someone shoots you 3 times from the window.... The sheer shock mixed with the pain will drop you like a rock... Then there are the vital points, hit a guy solid on the spinal cord and he will drop like a rock... Depending on how high you shot him on his spine will dictate if he is still alive after he falls or is clinically dead. Then the caliber, everyone will drop after a 50 cal to the body To end it, youre right, lol unless its a kill shot, no one drops like a rock

People bitch about server hoppin coz they dont like it when bambis they shoot, shoot back... They much prefer to hunt people that just run around shouting taunts. :) Give the op a break, haha a geared guy logging in next you in a building on a mil base? Haha lets all be honest, you would have shot him too...The only time you would have tried to talk to him is if you didnt have a weapon and he had a helmet on... Then the friendly dance would have commenced, the only bad thing the op did was bragging about it in a forum and calling it an exploit XD

Try using razer game booster.... Run dayz through that.

Not always.... I used to collect them, i would go up sniper hill at elektro and wait for a sniper to fire his mosin.... Hunt him them, kill him and then just take the lrs... Like a trophy for the kill.... I had like 4 of them at one point...

I went to neaf after a server restart, about 10 mins after it, i looted the first jail cell closest to the atc, then went to the atc, i was axing Z's by the atc on the runway side when i heard m4 shots, i immediately went to the tool shed, closed the door and waited, i saw a guy ran past who had a mosin on his back and it looked like he was running with a pistol, i immediately went after him, waited for him to get in the hangar 1(closest to atc) then i closed the distance, he exits hangar 1 going to hangar 2, under which time i double time it to the entrance of hangar 1, got into a firing position and waited for him to come out of hangar 2, as he came out of hangar 2, he proceeds going toward jail cell bldg 2 then does a 180 and runs towards me, i immediately shot him 3 times at a distance of i guess less than 20 m with an sks, he drops like he is dead with his head closests to me, as i exit out of cover and access his body, i was about to check pulse to check the name of the player(i could already see hide body, gear, check pulse options) when his dead body did a 180 and slide away from me towards the hangar number 2, now i figured it was just lag, but then his body turned left and went into the hangar, i immediately assumed hacker and went inside hangar one, as i peak towards hangar 2 from hangar 1, i see the head of his dead body... Then i hear m4 shots hitting the hangar im in, from the sound of it, it was like he was shooting me... I waited for an oppurtunity to run away, then i hear the sound of someone bandaging from hangar 2, so i rushed him, when i got in hangar 2, i see his dead body in the corner of the entrance of the hangar and an m4 on the side, i immediately shoot his head twice with an sks.... Then i hear a mosin shot and see the smoke of the mosin shot appear above his dead body, i then immediately shoot the space above his dead body where i saw the smoke, i shot it five times... Then magically, the dead body disappears, and when i exit out of the hangar, i see his dead body where it first fell... After which i proceeded to axe that dead body as many times as i could before running away Sorry, for the errors i did this on my phone,

I didnt just knock him out, i was able to see the options "hide body, check pulse and gear" when i scrolled down his body before he slid away, from my understanding, "hide body" isnt an option if he is only unconscious well i could be wrong though. And from the sounds of the m4, it was coming from his hangar but who knows...

Hm.... Well, they might have been planning to shoot you to begin with... I was once befriended by a couple of dudes somewhere in solnichny... I was given food, and even a gun... A blaze with two bullets... Then we all head out towards kamyshovo... Halfway there, the 3 of them stopped stopped and asked to trade guns with me... So i dropped the blaze... Then someone shot me with a shotty from behind... Broke my legs... Then bandaged me up... And gave me some saline.... Now i was "energized, hydrated" from the food they gave me and the saline... And just left me there...i had to crawl all the way to kamyshovo... I almost threw my computer out the window out of rage...,(i didnt know you could drown yourself lol) my point is... They were probably befriending you and gaining your trust to lower your guard.... Then when they saw the perfect opportunity.... Blew you away....

you got him trapped, in a building on second floor and The only way out was through you.... If that was me... I would have shot you too.... Mil bases are kos areas... I never announce myself when im at a disadvantage... Its like with wolves... You disturb a wolf while he is eating, hell attack you... Disturb a lone wolf while he is looting... And hell attack too. Lol
