That's part of the realism some people have a hardon for. I personally think 3PP is stupid and totally unnecessarily. But I only play HC so I don't care if other people want to play personal drone camera feed mode. More power to them and the idiots that they magically get the drop on and KoS. -

True stuff KoS, my crazy Russian friend. But honestly I'm too damn lazy to sneak around. I prefer to run through fields and skirt roads. If I wanted to spend hours sneaking like Gollum I would play Splinter Cell. I just want to get from place to place quickly and efficiently. Which is not to say I don't deserve to get sniped for that... But so what? There's no penalty for dying except it takes a few minutes to get a new axe and damaged orange hard hat. Edit: I don't know that you're a Russian. -

I gotta say, it's not always being careless getting KoS. Some people will camp on a roof for hours. Probably reading Harry Potter or trying to get their first erection, until a player comes on screen then they snipe them. There's not enough camo or cover to protect from someone who has the patience (read: no life) to camp that long. And I'm not talking airfields. -

I play at night in my bedroom across the hall from two sleeping girls (not college babes, sadly) so I tend to speak in a normal conversation voice (well, a Ben Stein impression) and not super loud or animated. So I come off as anti-social and untrustworthy. Which I'm not. But I'll flip you. I'll flip you for real. My point... Mics aren't always a great option. -

Common sense was an uncommon trait. I hate being KoSed. And I've never been held up by a bandit. Mostly just sniped or shot in the back. Only ever seen my killer face-to-face once. And I've never killed anyone else. That said, I think bandits are cool because it's good and fun to have that sense of fear but I have started to not enjoy the game because I'm tired of getting shot in the back. I'll probably limit my play until there's more stuff to do. And by that I mean more hats to find and wear. -

People whining about FPS on their Cray super computers need only realize that the game isn't optimized yet. When they get stuff functioning properly then I'm sure they'll tweak it so you get the 259 FPS you require to be a gaming god. -

Experimental is the Wild West of Cherno so I would say just a stupid bug. Maybe hypothermia or some other planned cause of death they're trying out. Or a deadly pebble. Though honestly I haven't experienced any killer ladders or 2 feet death drops. -

Ha! Totally. I logged in last night to Experimental for the first time in a week or so and the zombies gave me what for. Luckily I had plenty of bandages. Wasn't expecting that level of aggro. Didn't help that I forgot there was a new melee setup for two handed axe swings. It was fun!

I actually figured out the whole meaning of everything in DayZ. It's a CIA recruitment program developed by former military officer Dean Hall (Agent Rocket). They were looking for all the John Rambo/Carlos Hathcock harddick motherfuckers the internet had to offer and got it in spades. They want no remorse KoS, back stabbing future Jason Bournes, but things got out of hand and Agent Rocket is trying to get out and start a rival covert recruitment for the New Zealand KGB. -
