Im going to guess its like the other containers that you can pack away. Maybe place 3 pieces of paper in a leather wallet that takes up one space. Money that could be used for in game player to player purchases? I guess we'll find out.

I'm thinking that a player bubble that prevents the respawn until all players are out of an area will fix this. Its interesting to see how this all develops through experimental though :) -

Well, Rocket said they are CURRENTLY working on in game containers like the refrigerator and over etc. Im sure once they get that mechanic dealt with in the server code it wouldn't be hard to finally implement tents.

I think the slow passive craft skill system that Dean described would be great. It would give other players possible goals without being game breaking. I DON'T think that any skills should be added that effect combat in any way. You'd really have the metagamers screwing that up.

I would LOVE to be able to craft a scrap slingshot. It would go along nicely with the bows and other created weapons that could be more common than most guns. (not that bows are confirmed to be craftable.... I think...)

Mission's were an integral part of the Arma series. They are removing the mission files from the SA so server side addons will be totally up to the SA developers. They may not even give server admins the option to add in all of the goodies that we had in the Mod. They have talked about "end game" content though so who can say what we will see in a finished game. -
I would love to see this, but on the Chernarus map it would definitely have to be tied into an end game objective to make it worthwhile. More or less a community effort.

He was barely bleeding. Ive seen guys who are gushing still run for 30-45 seconds before being completely washed out or unconcious.

I would REALLY like to see any of the customizable scrap vehicles that were made for Origins. I think it adds to the salvage and repair feel of the game. -

Although I think repeated swings with a heavy melee weapon in game should tire you out, Im part of a historical recreation group and I can guarantee you that swinging an axe around like this in the game really isn't a huge issue when you are used to the heft. Granted not all survivors are lumberjacks or firefighters, but to be honest the attacks that you can make with these axes aren't that tough to make with little to no chance of self injury or a need to set a stance/ surprise attack. Im sure things will totally change once they implement ragdoll mechanics too. -
I was actually thinking about this a couple of weeks ago and its great that theres a thread already started. I would like to see pre-made components available for civilian weapons and just make some of the other ammo a little more scarce or just make reloads a little less powerful than premade. Really with the new crafting kits it would be easy to just add a reloading kit, various molds for ammo and have players use powder, scrap, and primers to make their own custom reloads. Yes I know casing and bullets are much more complicated to make but for the sake of game mechanics I think it would work and add another dynamic element to survival in a post apocalyptic setting.

It probably won't take that many rounds when gear damage locations are fixed. Right now a shooter has to basically ruin all of your gear to really hurt you instead of just the object in the path of the bullet.

Currently the ambient sounds tend to drown out all but the loudest running on concrete. Unless they change that Im not sure the footsteps need to be softer. I would just wait and see what kind of foot gear gets added. -
I agree with you. Unfortunately, holding someone up is quite a bit more dangerous than being a coward and shooting someone in the back. So, all the newbs will just shoot on sight.

3 dudes appear out of nowhere (literally just appear) and know the contents of a backpack from 15-20 feet away. This was pre-battle eye.

Ill have to cast my vote for no identification. As much as Id like that easier system to identify the KoS types it still takes away from the game overall. Now what I REALLY hope they put in is a way to identify friendlies or clanmates etc. Its a real pain when you can't even see someones name when you're 10 feet from them and most of the character models look similar. -

There's a larger issue than just not liking the rules of these servers and not joining. They are part of the greater hive, meaning loot farming for a single clan so they can log into other public servers and grief with maxed kits. Stop being so obtuse dude.
