lol... well played!

Ummm... You're probably looking around while holding "alt," then you hit the "tab" to look at your inventory, and BAM!!! it minimizes. Alt+Tab does that lol. At least I've done it a few times!

So I was in Berezino the other day, trying to find a (#@%*%! can opener! After a while I gave up and headed up to the construction site on the south end of town to get maybe some ammo or a less damaged backpack, ya know, a change of pace from all those annoying residential buildings and their multiple doors that don't always work yet (not complaining...Alpha, I know, I know...) Anyways I like to start at the top and work my way down, and as I'm doing so I see 2, not one, but TWO guys come into the ground floor. They don't see me as I duck behind a box, get my new SKS with scope ready, and wait... Now lemme say I HATE KOS, and play the game purely to try and survive. If it were the end of the world I might not help someone but I sure as heck wouldn't kill them, so I let these guys loot their way to me, and then just as they get to my floor I pop up from behind the box, heart pounding, ears buzzing, mouth dry, and line up a shot on the first one, while hollering "don't want trouble guys!!!!" into the mic. They both freeze in their tracks, one puts his hands up and the other just stands there for a sec, then says he'll put his weapon away. I lower mine but keep it out. They said they didn't want trouble either and did I need anything? Appears all I needed was can openers and they didn't have any either! So we chatted for a few, I asked if they minded if I took a backpack I'd had my eye on before they showed up. They didn't want it so I took it, and also one without a gun gave me two boxes of ammo for my SKS. Another player came towards us and these guys were getting scared, as was I. (we all thought it was the other guy's buddy!) One of them starts running around and worried that he doesn't have a gun. I dropped my FNX45 and 40 rounds for him (I didn't have a mag yet). Then we wished each other luck and I took off running before anyone changed their mind! Later that day bumped into the server owner who got the drop on me up at north end of Berezino, held me at gunpoint as we talked for a few minutes, and then wished me luck as he let me go about my business. One good turn deserves another I suppose... At any rate, I share this with all you KOS spaztastics out there, either hold me up, tie me up, and take what you need, or be a pal and we'll help each other. Shoutouts to you 3 guys I ran into last night, you're all first-rate survivors!

How do you change the number of shots per burst?

I like the idea. I'm not sure about buttstroking, but I bet they will be adding the stabby-stabbies in future updates.

I dunno if this is relevant. I'm not all that brainy but I can tell you a guy full of holes with blood all around just got shot or cut/stabbed depending on what shape they are. Not to mention the guy with a crapload of broken bones next to the high thingy probably fell. So yeah, totally a realistic add to the game!

I hope when they add guns through these updates they spread the current spawn rate out over more varieties of guns. If the game spawns 15 X and 15 Y, I'd hate to see it now spawn 15 rugers as well. (numbers just for illustration, I know, I know) I'd like to see its spawn 10 X, 10 Y, and 10 Rugers... too many guns would be bad for the game.

I woke up on the beach in some forsaken hole... I remember trying to escape the plague... I'd heard it hadn't made it to Europe yet so I hopped a plane from my home near Chicago. Layover in New York, nothing exciting, the usual. On the way over the atlantic I heard a rumor from the guy in the seat next to me that a plane had been taken over by the dead and crashed in Japan. Little did I know it would happen to us. I remember screaming, and gunshots-there must have been an Air Marshal on the plane, more screaming as we lost pressure and descended rapidly. Next came the splash, the water, and swimming, choking bodies. When I woke up I had nothing but the clothes on my back and my old mag-lite that had somehow made it past those dumb TSA guys. I was dreadfully thirsty from lying on the beach gasping for air in my unconsciousness. I got up and started toward the nearest houses I could see. Found a can of sardines that helped my hunger, and a can of soda to wet my cottony mouth. Got an old leaky army canteen too, but it had a few swallows of water in it. The tuna didn't help any though because I couldn't get the can open... I hope someone else can find it and make a good use of it. I ate and drank all I found, but was still so weak. I spotted a few houses clumped together in what looked like a village further down and moved toward them. Anything would help, a few cans of soda even! By the time I got there my eyes were seeing a slight grey I was so dehydrated. In the first house I looked through I found a camo hat and a flannel shirt. Tore my old shirt into rags in case I needed to bind a wound or anything, but I needed water... bad. As I came out of the house, a guy came up behind me and made a pass at my head. First though: This jac**s* wants to steal my new cap! "No way!" I yelled as I turned and started raining punches on his face and body. He fell to the ground with a gurgling noise and I started to see if maybe I could help heal his wounds and make a friend... but as he got up almost right away I realized this was no hat-thief... ZOMBIE!!! I turned away and ran as fast and far as I could, cutting though a couple houses until I lost him. The last house I went through was empty, and I was starting to lose hope and decided I HAD to try approaching the town where I had seen the zombie. I needed a pump to fill my canteen, more soda, anything for the dehydration wracking my fragile body. No sooner did I get to town that I saw two zombies running at me... I readied my fists, knocked them down one at a time as they got to me, and ran for my life! I had to get away! run, run ,run!!!!! I glanced back and now saw 4 Z's were chasing me, hell-bent on a new meal. No way I could shake them all. Then I noticed I was bleeding... Yanked a rag from my pocket and wrapped up my wound, turned around and waited. I would die fighting. These Z's would not take my spirit and I refused to wait for dehydration to exact its slow evils upon me. Already I saw no color, the world turned to grey. 4 Zombies surrounded me, scratching, biting, my punches raining against their dead skulls... I saw one fall and melt into the ground so I know I took at least one out, such a good way to go! But the other three got me... I fell into a state of unconsciousness, and only now I lie waiting for despair and pain to ebb my life away...

Lolz thanks all! If I get the energy soon I'll write ya one from my 3rd character. Things have gone a lot better for him, but this one instane with a splitting axe and a Bambi left me depressed...
