If I could make a suggestion. I play on the Musty gaming US Epoch server. It uses the same general map as the standalone. Lots of nice people and a great place to learn the game mechanics. There are also AI missions if you feel the need to commit suicide. Just don't get careless as there are some people that will shoot on sight. See you in game. Eagle

I think we have been playing on the same server for the past couple of days I recognize your name. Me and a couple of friends went to the gold mine also. Big Mistake!!! We did manage to kill a few AI and even enter the mine.... But there are Russian soldiers in there that can not be killed. Lost alot of good loot by trying to go back and get our equipment back. If I see you on the server again I will say Hi. Eagle

I had the exact thing happen to me. He dropped ammo for my Mosin, when I looked out came the axe. Also with a bad French accent. Just as you stated. Lesson learned. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. I have been killed so many times for no reason or without warning that I sometimes think to become a bandit myself. But I just can´t do it, not in my nature.

Actually this very thing happened to me in reverse. I was upstairs at the NE airfield admiring the first M4 I ever found. I have a habit of closing doors behind me when I enter a building. (Don't know why, Zeds just come through the walls.) But someone came up the stairs and scared the living crap out of me. I think I emptied the entire magazine before I realized they were dead. I hope they were dead. The body disappeared immediately. My heart was pounding so fast I thought I was gonna have a stroke. Love this game. Even in the Alpha stage. :beans:

Yeah next time we will circle the airfield. If we see campers in the bushes we will have to give no quarter. You are right. Lurking in the bushes with a mosin around a good loot source can only mean one thing. Bad!

Was on with my son. We both had just got pristine M4s and were tickled pink because we had never found any before. We went to the NE airfield to scavenge some ammo and mags. Just as we found some ammo and were enjoying our find we both got sniped. You are dead. This is the third time we have been sniped from nowhere. We are thinking of becoming bandits just because it is impossible to find nice people in this game. Oh well. time to gear up again. :beans:
