    Calm your tits, bro. You've not a clue (as you said) how the things work. I. e. the Arma 3 Alpha was running for over a half year. The beta therefore was just a few months before they went final. Also, you DON'T paid $20 for ALL THIS you can see here. You paid $20 to support the DEVELOPMENT. And that's all. It is not in your hands what and when the guys release content - or updates in general. And thank god for that. I'm really sick here of the most people; just because 90% have not a fckn' clue what an alpha (early access) is for. Kids these days... Srsly...
