so the devs are making all this Little changes that in sum make a new engine from the old! why bother with Windows and DirectX if there is OpenGL and steamos! i could imagine this creating a huge buzz in the tech world, if they do steamos and OpenGL! why are they so eager in DirectX! also steamos isnt as ressourcehungry as Windows! can someone Point me into a direction/link or something where things get technical. i am a CAD specialist and do 3d visualisation of houses and 3dsmax Renderings .....

a3wasteland on altis is THE mod i Play on arma3! it handles lots of People! and renders bullet Impacts on 2000 metres!

i am more of a talk before shootin guy... but i made some observations lately (even on experimental hardcore, where u dont expect kos to be this common) every Player that i come across, which has russian Accent, is trying to shoot me when he sees me. at first they say things like "friendly" in this damn russian Accent! only to shoot you afterwards when u wave your Hand and do the Q-E wiggle Dance! it happened too often now. is this some russian mentality Thing! do they think of themself as a master race? FCK RUSSIAN PRIDE edit: also my friend got killed as a freshspawn by a russian Player only because he was palying a black character!? WHAT THE .. ?

i dont care bout shitty graphics or tons of bugs the game givs me adrenline rushs like no other game before (didnt Play the mod). it will always have aplace on my SSD.... heck i played 3000 hours souls games, 2000 hours Team fortress 2 . and still Play from time to time! FUN TIMES lately some arma3 mods (wasteland i liked a lot), dayz is different and i like it! i dont see myself stepping away from dayz the next 2 years or so! it just still feels fresh. didnt Play the mod, the whole map is completely new for me. in my 300 hours of dayz i have been to berezino, the whole coast line, the towns surroudnig staroye, elektro, the airfields.... but there is still so much things to discover.... Castles, green mountain (which i heard some mystery tails from), the western cities also found a walkie talkie again and trying to make contact ....

i myself like to pretend to be someone else rather than myself in a Videogame! i love to get lost/immersed in other worlds and see things from different Point of views to explore new horizons! i can Play myself in real life! thats why i will welcome the Addition of private hive roleplay Servers! but to each their own!

maybe its more of a eastern european Thing to ignore People when they talk to them via direct ?!? and if they jump on the conversation you clearly can hear, those Players are overwhelmed by the sweet english language i roll out! (mostly i greet them with my warm clear Porno voice, if ladies hear it, they get wet) saying things like: "greetings weary traveler! what has you brought to These dangerous lands" i m not that good in english language, as ist not my native language. but These Players are even worse! is english tought in eastern european Schools ? REALLY. every Player i met, that has had this eastern european broken english slang wanted to kill me!!!!

i got a big ass Color Printer at work! only found a map that is split over 25 a4 pages! is there a Version anywhere with high Resolution for printing out 1 huge sheet! i Need cherarus+ from SA. REALLY DONT NEED THE NORMAL CHERNARUS MAP!!!!
